The referee booked him. I think it was for being a bad assistant referee. Either than or he shouldn't be telling the officials how to do their jobs.

That is exactly what Man City needed, someone to grab the game by the scruff of the neck. Mateo Kovacic took matters into his own hands. He dribbled through the heart of Club Brugge, the space opened up and he tucked it into the corner.
