That's all from me after a busy couple of days of Premiership action after which it's as we were at the top of the table, while it has tightened up at the bottom.

Plenty of goals for you, though, so watch out for the highlights from all six games on our club pages.

Meanwhile, Sportscene's highlights of today's games at Ibrox and Fir Park will be on the BBC Scotland channel at 19:15, with the show repeated at 23:40 on BBC One Scotland after Match Of The Day.

  2. Cowie expects 'quiet' deadline daypublished at 17:48 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

County's Don Cowie admits he is anticipating a "quiet" transfer deadline day.

He might be one of the only Premiership manager in that position.

As mentioned, it sounds like Celtic's Brendan Rodgers, Rangers' Philippe Clement and Motherwell caretaker Stevie Frail all expect some movement.

  3. Cowie's focus on 'getting away from 11th'published at 17:44 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

Ross County manager Don Cowie tells BBC Sportsound: "We started the game really well in terms of limiting them to very few opportunities. Then, when you concede the first goal, it's a bit of a blow, but it's how you respond and react to that - and, at that stage, we let the game get away from us.

"We always look at what we could do better. I feel we've got a really good group who, on their day, can really compete.

"Really disappointed with the result but now our focus turns to 13 really important games. That's us finished playing the Old Firm, so we know what we've got coming up and it's about us giving the best version of ourselves in that run of games.

"The focus right now is getting away from 11th spot."

  4. Celtic 'perfect environment' for Jota - Rodgerspublished at 17:42 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Celtic

Brendan Rodgers is pleased with the way Adam Idah has taken on the task of spearheading Celtic's attack after Kyogo Furuhashi's exit.

"I've always known that, with Adam Idah, it's about patience and support and time with him," the Celtic manager says after the striker's goal against Motherwell.

"There's no doubting his talent and his quality. You saw today that he's a real handful."

Meanwhile, of Jota's tears after the winger scored on his return from Rennes, Rodgers adds: "It's a huge moment for Jota. That's the very reason he's come back.

"It's important for creative players to feel wanted and appreciated. Celtic is the perfect environment for him.

"He has the tricks, but he's also effective with it. He's going to be a big asset for us."

    Motherwell 1-3 Celtic

"Overall, I'm really pleased with the performance and the control in the game."

  6. Frail and Rodgers seek additionspublished at 17:34 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Celtic

Caretaker Stevie Frail says he is off to speak to Motherwell's head of recruitment for an update on possible new additions before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

We'll bring you more details from Celtic counterpart Brendan Rodgers, but he too seems to be expecting some squad strengthening in the next 24 or so hours.

  7. 'I can't argue with the result' - Frailpublished at 17:31 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Celtic

Despite the defeat, Motherwell caretaker manager Stephen Frail is pleased with his side considering the trauma of losing manager Stuart Kettlewell last week.

"I thought we caused them problems in the first half but didn't do it enough in the second half," he tells BBC Scotland.

"I can't argue with the result, but what I saw from the players today was a group of players who are willing to roll their sleeves up during what has been a tough week.

"That says something about the character of the team.

"Overall, disappointing with the result, but the way the players have attacked it, I have to be really pleased."

  8. 'The board know' what Clement wantspublished at 17:28 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

The final question put to Rangers manager Philippe Clement by BBC Scotland's Kheredine Idessane concerns what the Belgian would be happy with regarding transfer comings and goings before Monday night's deadline.

"That's not for your ears, he replies. "The board will know that and they know, they know which types or which profiles I would be happy [with]. We will see how far we can get."

  9. 'Rangers an exciting place'published at 17:25 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

Rangers manager Philippe Clement: "I'm quite happy and you see what we've been saying the last months.

"This team is growing, also in depth with the whole squad that everybody starts to understand better the patterns, the way of playing, with and without the ball. It's again next week, doing the same.

"Rangers is for this moment an exciting place to watch if you see the evolution of all these young players, out of nothing growing and becoming stronger. It's exciting to see where they're going to grow.

    "I still want more."

  10. 'Rangers momentum too late'published at 17:22 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

    Steven Thompson

You can't be disappointed with four goals and a clean sheet.

It is the first time you have felt that momentum from Rangers this season in terms of results and performances.

But it's come too late for the league and League Cup - and he [Philippe Clement] will have to find that early next season.

  11. Positive Clementpublished at 17:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

Rangers manager Philippe Clement appears to be pretty satisfied - with the "growth" of his team.

However, he would obviously have liked them to be more clinical in the second half.

  13. County 'very poor'published at 17:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

Ross County were very poor. I'm not sure what Don Cowie can say about that, but they have bigger fish to fry.

I think they have Motherwell in a couple of weeks and that will be a big game for them.

  14. 'Boring to say the least'published at 17:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Rangers 4-0 Ross County

    Steven Thompson
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

It was boring to say the very least.

Obviously the job was done in the first half. Second half, County had resigned themselves to defeat and Rangers didn't raise their levels - if anything they lowered them.

That second half was probably one of the most boring things I've watched.

  15. Jota Bhoypublished at 17:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT: Motherwell 1-3 Celtic

That was Jota's first Celtic goal since they lifted the Scottish Cup with a 3-1 win over Inverness Caledonian Thistle in June 2023.

Two troubled transfers to Al-Ittihad and Rennes have followed. No wonder there were tears of joy as he marked his return with a goal.

The winger has now scored three times against Motherwell.

    Scottish Premiership

The gap at the top remains 10 points, but Rangers have consolidated second spot - as if there has been any real danger they could be caught for some weeks now.

Dundee United are a massive 16 points behind.

Managerless Motherwell, meanwhile, miss a chance to regain fifth spot from Hibs, while County end the weekend second bottom after Kilmarnock's win on Saturday.

The Dingwall side are now looking over their shoulder, with St Johnstone now only five behind after their win over St Mirren in Paisley.

  17. Celtic take another step towards titlepublished at 16:59 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

    FT Motherwell 1-3 Celtic

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Scotland at Fir Park

Games are ticking off and, with a 10-point cushion, potentially 13 come Wednesday when they host Dundee, Celtic are showing little sign of taking their foot off the gas.

The margin of victory could, and should, have been more than three.

However, that moment from Jota was incredible. He just seems to fit at Celtic and announced his return in style.

  18. FULL-TIME Motherwell 1-3 Celticpublished at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

Celtic leave Lanarkshire with all three points - it was tight, though, until that emotional ending.

Daizen Maeda's header after 49 seconds and Adam Idah's 11th goal of the season looked to be enough for Brendan Rodgers side.

Countless big chances missed in the second half, but Motherwell never looked as though they'd make them pay for that and Jota added the flourish as the holders remain 10 points clear of Rangers with a game in hand.

  19. FULL-TIME Rangers 4-0 Ross Countypublished at 16:53 Greenwich Mean Time 2 February

As comfortable a win as Rangers have had in 2025 as they score four without reply against Ross County.

Ianis Hagi with two and John Souttar with one before the break had the hosts coasting and James Tavernier's second-half penalty added some gloss to the scoreline.

It's 13-0 against on aggregate for County against Rangers so far this season.

What a return. Jota scores on his comeback from Rennes to settle the game.

The Portuguese gets on the end of Maeda's cross to tap in at the back post for his first back in Celtic colours.

He then bursts into tears after hearing the fans sing his name!

    What a moment.
