    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

    Daz Hale
    Co-commentator on BBC Radio WM

I think Gary Rowett will be satisfied with what he's seen so far. There's been a lot nearly moments for Blues but at least the intent is there.

This game is just ebbing and flowing at the moment, no one is really in control.

How on earth are Norwich not a goal up against Swansea?

Gabriel Sara puts in an outrageous turn to beat his marker on the left flank and drives a low ball into the box towards Josh Sargent who's at the back post.

But the American's effort goes wide of the mark from close range.

A grey afternoon in Southampton with a slow breeze sweeping around the stadium.

Some Southampton supporters are enjoying the newly added safe standing at the top of the Northam stand, singing and encouraging their team on.

Excited to see Bournemouth loanee David Brooks taking up a more central role in attacking midfield today.

    Sheff Wed 0-0 West Brom

    Tony 'Bomber' Brown
West Brom's all-time leading goalscorer on BBC Radio WM

The early stages will play a big part. It's how the West Bromwich players will overcome this atmosphere - the home supporters are making one hell of a noise here.

If Albion get an early goal, it will just kill the noise off and do them a world of good.

  14. 'Nervous tension'published at 15:03 British Summer Time 27 April

    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

    Adam Cottier
BBC Final Score at The John Smith's Stadium

A nervous tension in this part of Yorkshire as fans of these two clubs mull over their respective campaigns which reach a critical point today.

Huddersfield were heading for the play-off final only two years ago, but are the most likely to be relegated by 5pm.

Birmingham haven’t played in the third tier since the 1990s. A 23rd league defeat will leave them on the brink of League One.

Their fans are demanding some spirit and fight ahead of a final day game at home to Norwich.

  15. 'Sell out at Hillsborough'published at 15:02 British Summer Time 27 April

    Sheff Wed 0-0 West Brom

    Naz Premji
    Final Score at Hillsborough

A sell out at Hillsborough in a game with significance at both ends of the table. A Wednesday win would go a long way to helping their survival mission, West Brom still need a point or two to make sure of their play-off place.

Two young coaches in Danny Rohl and Carlos Corberan who have very similar playing philosophies so this has a great deal of intrigue.

  20. Cleverley named official Watford bosspublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 27 April

Watford fans might not have much to get excited about if they look at the table and see their 15th position, but they might considering Tom Cleverley was rewarded with the permanent position at the club this week.

The former England midfielder has done enough since taking over on an interim basis in March, losing just one of his seven games in charge (drawing five), that he becomes the Hornets' 12th permanent head coach since 2018 and eighth since the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The 34-year-old - who only retired last year - said this week that he was undaunted about the turnover rate of managers at the club and that he's driven by "unfinished business" from his playing career. “That drives me forward with my coaching," he told BBC Sport.

Fellow mid-table dwellers Sunderland are the visitors at Vicarage Road today, looking to win their first game at Watford in six matches.
