That's what you want to see from Poku, getting at the defenders.

It was simple for Ricky-Jade Jones, all he had to do is connect with the ball and tap it home.

    Reading 2-1 Crawley

It's certainly a big task facing Crawley in this second-half.

Reading have won seven of their last nine home league games in a run stretching back to last season.

They've also kept their impressive goalscoring form going on home turf, scoring two or more goals in six of their last seven, including today's game.

Kwame Poku shows why he was September's League One player of the month as he sends in a clinical pass towards the far post after a couple of dazzling stepovers.

  18. 'Wing's best-ever goal for Reading'published at 13:23 British Summer Time 19 October

    HT: Reading 2-1 Crawley

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire

He's scored some fantastic goals in a Reading shirt but that for me will be the best of the lot.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 19 October

    Reading 2-1 Crawley

Reading go in ahead at the break thanks to Lewis Wing's thunderbolt five minutes before half-time.

It's been an excellent first-half of football with chances at both ends and plenty of goals.

The Royals went ahead through centre-back Amadou Mbengue's fine turn and shot before Harry Forster's deflected effort from the edge of the box drew Crawley level.

But when you're down on your luck like Crawley have been this season, things like this happen and Wing rifled an unstoppable stunner into the top bins from 35 yards out.

More of the same in the second-half, please!

  20. Postpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 19 October

    Reading 2-1 Crawley

Reading's Adrian Akande skips inside and almost makes it three on the stroke of half-time but his shot flies over the bar.

An almost great end to a great half.
