Charlie Caton's first Accrington goal earned his side a 2-1 win at MK Dons.

Isaac Sinclair put the visitors in front before Alex Gilbey's equaliser, but Caton's winner earned Stanley a first ever win at Stadium MK, while the Dons have now lost three of their last four league outings.

The hosts were denied early on when Nathaniel Mendez-Laing forced a fine save from Ollie Wright.

Stanley scored in the 19th minute - Tyler Walton's pass released Sinclair, who beat Craig MacGillivray to notch his second goal in as many games.

Josh Woods then saw one shot saved by MacGillivray and another effort hit a post.

MK Dons equalised straight after half-time as Gilbey converted after Wright could not hold a cross. Furious Accrington insisted Wright was fouled, but the goal stood.

But the visitors retook the lead in the 73rd minute as Caton scored from Isaac Heath's low cross.

A miserable day for the Dons was sealed when defender Luke Offord was shown a second yellow in stoppage time.
