Jade McLaren scored the winning goal for Montrose at Foundation Park
Montrose continued their fight for SWPL safety with a 1-0 victory over Dundee United.
United's relegation was confirmed following their defeat to Partick Thistle last weekend but Montrose, although in the relegation zone, are still in with a chance of staying in the top flight.
Jade McLaren's 60th minute goal proved to be the difference at Foundation Park to move Montrose within five points of Spartans above them with five games to play.
