Bayley Hutchison scored a hat-trick as Hearts eased past Montrose
Bayley Hutchison's hat-trick helped Hearts to a thumping 7-0 win over Montrose.
Carly Johns got the hosts off the mark from the penalty spot after being pulled down in the box and striker Bayley Hutchison added a second just before the break.
Lauren Wade got Hearts' third just three minutes into the second half before Hutchison bagged her second, and Hearts' fourth, with half an hour to play.
Kayla Jardine also got on the scoresheet before Hutchison completed her hat-trick. Striker Georgia Timms rounded off the scoring for Hearts with five minutes to play at Oriam.
The victory moves Hearts joint on points with Rangers but above them into fourth thanks to their superior goal difference. Montrose meanwhile slip to eighth following Aberdeen's victory earlier.
