
Kerry Beattie scored Aberdeen's opening goal against Accies
Aberdeen edged closer to the top half of the SWPL table with a comfortable 5-0 victory over struggling Hamilton Accies.
Kerry Beattie pounced onto a spilled cross from Accies keeper Erin Halliday and bundled the ball into the back of the net to give Aberdeen the advantage in the first half.
Eva Thomson squeezed in a second, fashioning a chance from almost nothing, to double the hosts' lead early into the second half and Aimee Black added a third minutes later when she pounced onto a loose ball in the box.
Mya Christie grabbed a fourth when she capitalised on another spilled ball from Accies keeper Halliday and a second from Black made it five.
The result leaves Accies rock bottom of the table on zero points while Aberdeen move joint on points with Motherwell in sixth.
