Again it is a Harder header, this time meeting Giulia Gwinn's fine cross from deep on the left.

What a game this is and Bayern Munich retake the lead.
A corner from the right is swung in left-footed by Carolin Simon, Pernille Harder has created some space away from Kim Little and powers a header through a crowded penalty area.
The ball goes in off the inside of the post and, just as she was for the first goal, Manuela Zinsberger is unmoved in the Arsenal goal.

With Arsenal's first attempt of the second half, they pull level. Katie McCabe's delivery from the right with a corner is excellent and Laia Codina is there and shows strength to head into the net for her first ever Champions League goal.

Arsenal can't get the ball in this half. Pernille Harder is the next to shoot for the hosts but her shot hits the side netting, albeit after coming off an Arsenal player.

Jonas Eidevall does have options, plenty of them, on the bench. Steph Catley, Beth Mead and Alessia Russo are among the substitutes for the Gunners.
Sydney Lohmann (Bayern Munich)
The goal had been coming with Bayern dominating this second half so far. It is a quick counter attack with the ball going from the left to the right of the pitch and Sydney Lohmann is free and able to shoot low past Manuela Zinsberger from the edge of the penalty area..
Zinsberger, who has made some good saves tonight, will feel she should have done better.

Back in Germany, and it is another chance for the hosts. Again it falls to Caroline Simon and again her effort from distance is saved well by Manuela Zinsberger.

It's another chilly evening here in Manchester as City kickstart their Women's Champions League campaign.
It's the first time they are back in the main draw since they were knocked out by Barcelona in the 2021 quarter-finals.
It's a sell-out at Joie Stadium and fans are not shy of the cold, arriving in large numbers as soon as the doors opened an hour and a half before kick-off.
The Barcelona players walked in via the East Stand entrance and Alexia Putellas took off her headphones to say hello to City's official club mascot 'Moonshine'.
Security staff nearby waved enthusiastically at former Manchester City players Keira Walsh and Ellie Roebuck and shouted "welcome back!"
It's a big night for Walsh on her return to City. Her grandma is here to watch her and she starts in midfield for Barcelona.

A very good start to the second half from Bayern Munich. This time the cross comes in from Sydney Lohmann and Pernille Harder rises well in a crowded penalty area to produce a downward header, with it going just wide.

A great save from Arsenal's Manela Zinsberger inside the opening 60 seconds of the second half. The ball was passed back to Carolin Simon and she struck low from 30 yards out.
Zinsberger got down quickly to her left to push it around the post for a corner, which comes to nothing.

Gareth Taylor makes four changes to the Manchester City side who beat West Ham here on Sunday.
Leila Ouahabi was a doubt which means it's a big night for young England defender Naomi Layzell to make her Champions League debut.
Khadija Shaw, Jess Park and Vivianne Miedema all return to the starting XI, with Chloe Kelly, Laura Blindkilde Brown, Jill Roord and Ouahabi dropping to the bench.
