West Ham goalkeeper Kinga Szemik dropped the ball and Annabel Blanchard was in the perfect position to pick it up. It's the conditions that we have been talking about.

    FT: Manchester United 4-0 Liverpool

    Manchester United

Manchester United manager Marc Skinner speaking to Sky Sports: "Coming back from an international break is part of the game. I think Liverpool suffered form that a little bit today but they've also got some injuries.

"We hit the ground running but there are still areas to improve. The finishes were fantastic and we created a lot of chances. That is satisfying to see for me as a coach."

On the exit of sporting director Dan Ashworth: "My sole focus has been on Liverpool. It will always be. There will always be decisions made around people at the club. Without being privy to it, all I can do is what we have done today. Of course, we will find more about what has happened in the coming days."

    West Ham 1-2 Crystal Palace

Well this one has certainly been played in the spirit of a London derby. It's been end to end from minute one.

Annabel Blanchard looked certain to extend Palace's lead to two goals, prodding at goal after King Szemik spilled a cross, but somehow her effort lands onto the roof of the net instead.

We asked for goals today and we have already got three.

It was quick play from West Ham. Viviane Asseyi is able to run at the back post, sneak in and tuck it away.

But it's also a brilliant cross from Seraina Piubel. It's a difficult ball to deal with as a defender.
