    Arsenal 3-0 Villa

Villa continue to plug away, Gabi Nunes heading a cross onto the roof of the net.

Just under five minutes of normal time remaining at the Emirates.

    Huge chance!

Brighton are in but Kiko Seike takes too long to pick her spot after arriving in the box and the Chelsea defence recovers just in time. The visitors can sense there is a result here for them - but was that the moment?

  3. Postpublished at 15:43 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

Kinga Szemik is given a short back pass and has to scamper out of her goal to quickly clear the danger, then almost immediately at the other end Palace give the ball away in their own final third.

Annabel Blanchard's slip hands the ball to Oona Siren, who jinks her way into the box and shoots, but Blanchard's blushes are spared by a good stop from Shae Yanez.

Brighton almost concede again from playing it out, but Vicky Losada is relieved to see the ball travel wide after losing it inside her own box. Is it really worth it?!

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:41 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Arsenal 3-0 Villa

A promising attack from Villa ends when Kenza Dali leathers a shot well over the top.

A final sub for Arsenal, as Kyra Cooney-Cross is replaced by Kathrine Kuhl.

  6. Postpublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Chelsea 3-2 Brighton

Into the final 10 minutes and it's all still to play for. Can Chelsea see this out or will Brighton find a way to end the hosts' perfect start?

  7. Postpublished at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

Seems like this game has picked up where it left off in the first half, with the action going from end to end, with chances continuing to flow.

Viviane Asseyi curls a wide free kick towards goal but it lands on the roof of the Palace net.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 15:37 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Arsenal 3-0 Villa

Katie Robinson and Miri Taylor are on to try and boost Villa's attack.

Chasity Grant and Jordan Nobbs make way.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:35 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Chelsea 3-2 Brighton

Chelsea are denied by the post!

Mayra Ramirez's header comes off a Brighton player and deflects off the upright and away. Fine margins.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

Back under way in East London. Even more goals please!

  11. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Chelsea 3-2 Brighton

A strong tackle from Jorelyn Carabali receives a yellow card and hands Chelsea a free-kick on the edge of the Brighton penalty area, but the home side must settle for a corner following Guro Reiten's cross.

    Arsenal 3-0 Aston Villa

This would be Arsenal's seventh win in eight matches under interim manager Renee Slegers.

Slegers has really turned Arsenal around after their poor start under Jonas Eidevall. For all the talk about the Gunners waiting for the perfect permanent boss, it continues to look like an ideal option might be right under their noses already.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 15:32 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Arsenal 3-0 Aston Villa

Double change for the hosts - Laura Wienroither returns after her latest injury absence, on for Steph Catley.

Lina Hurtig, who scored the winner for Arsenal against Juventus in their previous game, replaces Caitlin Foord.

  14. 'Palace can't take foot off gas'published at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

HT: West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on BBC One

Crystal Palace can't take their foot off the gas. They started off the better of the two sides and looked like they were going to score more.

Annabel Blanchard will be kicking herself for missing the chance that could've taken her team 3-1 up.

Their backline has been at sixes and sevens and they need to be more deliberate with the challenges they are making.

  15. goal

GOAL - Chelsea 3-2 Brightonpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Kiko Seike (71 mins)

Another playing-it-out-from-the-back-at-all-costs shocker in this match.

Chelsea invite pressure on and eventually a loose pass is pounced upon, with Michelle Agyemang teeing up Kiko Seike for an easy tap-in to bring Brighton back into this.

Some incredible goals in this game for all the wrong reasons.

  16. Postpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

HT: West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

Before today Crystal Palace had taken a 1-0 lead in three of their last four games before going on to drop points.

Today in East London even a 2-0 lead hasn't proved enough for them to take any points against West Ham as it stands.

A big 45 minutes ahead for the Eagles.

  17. goal

GOAL - Arsenal 3-0 Aston Villapublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Stina Blackstenius (70 mins)

tina Balckstenius of Arsenal scores her team's third goal past Sabrina D Angelo of Aston VillaImage source, Getty Images

    That should be that.

Stina Blackstenius breaks the offside trap as she peels off the shoulder of Anna Patten, and lofts her finish over the advancing Sabrina D'Angelo.

Blackstenius' second league goal of the season, and it should be enough to make sure Arsenal end the weekend in the Champions League places.

  18. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Chelsea 3-1 Brighton

Brighton and Hove Albion's Rachel McLauchlan and Chelsea's Catarina Macario battle for the ballImage source, PA Media

Bruna Vilamala finds space on the edge of the Chelsea penalty area but she can't pick out the top corner and Hannah Hampton catches.

A Brighton goal would make this very interesting - but Chelsea know a fourth would be game over and they look very keen to get it.

  19. 'Skinner should be very happy'published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

HT: West Ham 3-2 Crystal Palace

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on BBC One

Rehanne Skinner should be very happy with the way her team finished that half.

They had the worst start possible but to show the character to stay in the game and to get that third important goal going into half-time, they will feel happy about that.

  20. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December

    Arsenal 2-0 Aston Villa

Katie McCabe of Arsenal passes the ball whilst under pressure from Kirsty Hanson of Aston VillaImage source, Getty Images

Noelle Maritz, newly on as a sub, nearly makes an instant impact but guides her header well off target.

Villa have made a few very presentable chances in the last 15 minutes.
