  1. Postpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Roma

There have been 17 shots in this game after 42 minutes. I would have believed you if you said there had been double that number.

    Superb entertainment.

  2. Champions electpublished at 20:42 Greenwich Mean Time

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at Old Trafford

The visitors will be crowned Norwegian champions if they beat Lillestrom on Sunday.

    That is all.

  3. Postpublished at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

The hosts have found a rhythm. The last five minutes have been played exclusively in the final third.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:41 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Roma

    Roma are clinging on now.

Son Heung-min brilliantly takes a ball down and curls a shot towards goal, that Mile Svilar does brilliantly to turn around the post with his left fingertips.

Spurs would love to make this dominance count with a third goal before the break.

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

The Manchester United fans are doing their Twelve Cantonas chant, which I guess is like Whamageddon for football journalists.

Tyrell Malacia attempts another cross but it goes straight out for a goal kick.

  6. Stat attackpublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Roma

Brennan Johnson has now been directly involved in four goals in four Europa League games for Tottenham this season, the most by a Welsh player in a campaign in the competition since Gareth Bale in 2020-21, also four and also for Spurs.

  7. goal

GOAL - Nice 0-2 Rangerspublished at 20:39 Greenwich Mean Time

    What a finish!

Just three minutes after opening the scoring, Rangers have the ball in the back of the net again.

The ball is lofted in by Dujon Sterling and Mohamed Diomande just cuts in cheekily behind his defender and lifts one over the goalkeeper.

A really smart and composed finish.

  8. 'An incredible miss from Son'published at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham 2-1 Roma

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

That's an incredible miss from Son.

Son is seven yards from goal and he blazes it so high over the bar.

    I don't know how he's missed that.

  9. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Roma

Does Dejan Kulusevski now hold the mantle of Spurs' best player? He has had a superb season so far, and tonight has been nearly unplayable.

The Swedish international has established himself as among the very best forwards in the Premier League right now.

  10. Postpublished at 20:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

Tyrell Malacia attempts his sixth cross of the game and Bodo/Glimt keeper Nikita Haikin easily catches it.

    The visitors look comfortable.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Roma

    So nearly 3-1!

The electric Dejan Kulusevski is again at the centre of it all, his left footed drive from an angle beating Mile Svilar but striking the bottom of the far post.

The ball rebounds to Son Heung-min, but he blazes his shot well over.

Some people seem to think Amorim can change this team in two games. Very strange.

    Kenny

When are people going to realise that the manager isn’t United’s problem? It’s deeper than that but the United board - and a lot of the fans - can’t seem to accept that.

    Excellent by Dejan Kulusevski.

He gets past his marker and you see Brennan Johnson arriving. Kulusevski looks up and rolls the ball across, Johnson finds the corner with ease.

  14. goal

GOAL - Nice 0-1 Rangerspublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time

    Vaclav Cerny (35 mins)

Good ball from Dujon Sterling across to Hamza Igamane at the back post.

The Moroccan guides it back across goal for Vaclav Cerny to pick up and finish coolly. It takes a couple of deflections but he won't care.

We needed something to wake this game up and we've got it now!

  15. Postpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

Olés from the Bodo/Glimt fans as their side have a spell of possession.

    Lovely goal!

This time Paulo Dybala is to blame as he gives the ball away with a blind pass, which is picked up by Pape Sarr who plays a long ball for Dejan Kulusevski.

Kulusevski has the beating of Mats Hummels in a foot race every day of the year, gets the ball and plays a fine low cross from the left which Brennan Johnson finishes first time into the bottom corner.

  17. Postpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time

    Nice 0-0 Rangers

Certainly not as much excitement in Nice as there is in Manchester or London.

It's been a bit flat for the last 10 minutes or so.

Given what happened to Sporting a couple of days ago, do you reckon Amorim is already wishing he was back there?

    Dave Payn

Ha. This system is never going to work with these players. They are not good enough. End of.

    Colin

Pre-season is the time for wacky formations unfamiliar to average players. Not when you need to go on a 10 game winning run just to try and get back to where you should be (not even challenging).

  19. Postpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

Bodo/Glimt almost mess up passing it around the back but Jostein Gundersen just about recovers before Rasmus Hojlund can steal possession.

Andreas Helmersen is then booked for a late challenge on Bruno Fernandes.

  20. Postpublished at 20:30 Greenwich Mean Time

    Man Utd 1-2 Bodo/Glimt

Manchester United are struggling to keep hold of the ball. They're forcing it, trying to do too much.
