    Nice 0-0 Rangers

This looks like a problem for Youssouf Ndayishimiye. He is receiving some treatment and it looked like Nice may be forced into an early change but he's going to carry on for now.

    Man Utd 1-0 Bodo/Glimt

When United attack, they properly attack.

The hosts camp inside the final third, zipping the ball from defender to defender while about five in red try to create some space ahead of them.

Still no clear-cut chances since the opener though.

    Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Roma

This is the first competitive meeting between Spurs and Roma - a factoid which surprised me pre-match, given the European football heritage both sides have.

Paulo Dybala aims to mark this inaugural encounter by lobbing Fraser Forster from the halfway line, but gets the effort all wrong.

Paulo Dybala is going to cause problems. He is playing in that 10 role and he is such a clever player.

The Man United goal owed as much to Hojlund's persistence as it did to some terrible goalkeeping. Amorim will demand that sort of workrate from the centre forward in his 3-4-3 formation. The early goal has settled Old Trafford down.

Having just said United are keeping the ball well, they lose it in a dangerous area. Philip Zinckernagel skips round Matthijs de Ligt, but the forward's shot is really poor and Andre Onana easily saves.

After a shaky start, Roma have settled into this game.

Paulo Dybala almost finds the head of Artem Dovbyk with a curling cross, but Radu Dragusin does well to head the ball behind.

    Nice 0-0 Rangers

Brilliant opportunity for Rangers as they get three players forward but somehow Hamza Igamane can't get his shot off and the ball is smothered by the defender.

Vaclav Cerny was probably in a better position to get the shot away.

  9. NO PENALTYpublished at 20:11 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Nice 0-0 Rangers

There was also a check for a foul on Badredine Bouanani but the referee, after thoroughly checking all three incidents, decides not to give the penalty.

It was very difficult to tell what was going on there to be honest. Goodness knows what the fans in the stadium were thinking.

    Man Utd 1-0 Bodo/Glimt

Bruno Fernandes is playing in a slightly deeper role tonight. You do lose his creativity in the final third, but he is excellent at beating the press from that spot and gets his side out of danger with some sharp passing.

United haven't attacked since they've scored, but are keeping the ball well.

  11. Postpublished at 20:10 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Nice 0-0 Rangers

The referee has been sent to the monitor to have a look at this.

It's actually Gaetan Laborde's cross which seems to hit the arm of John Souttar. But he was so close to the player it surely can't be given, what else can he do with his alarm?

We've got several incidents being looked at here.

    Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Roma

Spurs have won their last seven home matches in the Europa League before tonight without conceding a single goal, while scoring 19 goals themselves.

They have started this game like they mean business, Dejan Kulusevski winning the ball high in the Roma half but just not quite being able to feed Brennan Johnson.

  13. Postpublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Man Utd 1-0 Bodo/Glimt

Important clearance from Tyrell Malacia to hack away a cross from under his own crossbar.

United get lucky. Antony was far too high giving Bodo/Glimt acres of room down the left.

    Nice 0-0 Rangers

Cries of handball from the Nice players as Youssoufa Moukoko gets a shot off from close range.

Replays show it looks like it hits the back of Nedim Bajrami but the video assistant referee is going to have a look at this.

    It's a good penalty from Son Heung-min.

He takes his time, he's not afraid to wait and he strokes it into the bottom corner.

A fantastic start to this game for Tottenham Hotspur.

    Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Roma

Mats Hummels is making his first start for Roma tonight, and his first start in Europe since playing for Borussia Dortmund in last season's Champions League final.

His first action of note is to give away a penalty. Not great.

Manchester United scored after 81 seconds at Ipswich on Sunday. I made that about 40 tonight.

Nikita Haikin might be relieved Alejandro Garnacho was on hand to tap that in because he could easily have been sent off otherwise for deliberately bringing Rasmus Hojlund down as the United striker was trying to get to the loose ball.

  18. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Man Utd 1-0 Bodo/Glimt

Well, that early goal has got the Manchester United fans singing.

Also, just to confirm, Antony is playing right wing-back.

  19. Postpublished at 20:06 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November

    Nice 0-0 Rangers

Well that was a heck of a strike from Badredine Bouanani. He tries to curl it into the top left corner from 20-yards out but it drifts just wide of the target.
