A lovely curling finish from Gustav Isaksen earns a 2-1 win for the Italian side against Viktoria Plzen.

  4. 'Lack of communication and transparency'published at 21:56 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

FT: Real Sociedad 1-1 Man Utd

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

There is a lack of communication and a lack of transparency.

Yes, football clubs are business, but when you buy a football club you buy the hardened souls of fans.

That is the most important thing. That's what a lot of those businessmen overlook.

  5. Roma score late winnerpublished at 21:53 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    FT: Roma 2-1 Athletic Bilbao

    Late drama in Rome!

Eldor Shomurodov turns inside the box and finds the bottom corner in the third minute of stoppage time to give Roma the lead against 10-man Athletic Club.

It's given after a VAR check and that was pretty much the last kick of the match.

  6. 'I'm not changing'published at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

FT: Real Sociedad 1-1 Man Utd

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ruben Amorim keeps going back to saying 'I'm not changing'.

That's where I think the problem is.

  7. 'We were very bad everywhere' - Mourinhopublished at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho on his side's 3-1 loss at home to Rangers:

"I don't think it's fair to say we were bad defensively because we were very bad everywhere.

"Maybe you laugh, but for me it was a good result because of the way we performed, the result could have been bigger than this one.

"There is, I think, a penalty but to speak about referees after this performance I don't think is ethical. Our performance was bad overall.

"We lost a lot of duels, our passing was not fast. To speak about Fred [who was suspended tonight] is something that I don't like but he was playing fantastic and the team was playing fantastic with him there.

"Defensively we made incredible mistakes. They defend a lot with a very low block and then dangerous counters and we had no pace to follow that.

"I have to say that we deserved a punishment of this result. If someone wants to ask me if it's over, no, I don't think it's over."

  8. Europa League latestpublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Lazio and Athletic Bilbao have both had players sent off - they are both currently drawing 1-1 away from home in the Europa League against Viktoria Plzen and Roma respectively.

About five minutes plus stoppage time to play in each of those matches.

  9. 'We need him fit' - Maresca on Jamespublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca speaking in his post-match news conference about goalscorer Reece James: "I see Reece as a midfielder. Since day one. I sent him a clip when he was on holiday about how he can be a midfielder. He has played in full-back, central defender, so the main target for us is to keep him fit.

"We know how important he is for us. He's our captain, a fantastic player. We need him fit, so that is our duty, our target, because for sure he is going to help us. He can play in many positions because the good players can play in many positions.

"It has been a little bit of a sloppy goal. We can avoid that. It's football, it can happen. Now 90 minutes have finished and now we have 90 more minutes against them.

"The main game for us is Sunday's game at home and we need our fans for 100 minutes behind the team and pushing the team.

"If we can win against Leicester on Sunday, we can do one more step to finishing in the Champions League, (whether) top four or top five, I do not know."

  10. 'Sociedad will still fancy their chances'published at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

FT: Real Sociedad 1-1 Man Utd

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

If I was being honest from what I have seen - every team that comes to Old Trafford should think, 'we can get something here'.

With Arsenal coming on Sunday we don't know how that game will pan-out.

  11. 'It wasn't great from us'published at 21:37 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    FT: AZ 1-0 Tottenham

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou, speaking in his post-match news conference: "We'll analyse it and have a look at the areas where we struggled with, but it's fair to say it was nowhere near the level it needed to be.

"It wasn't great from us tonight. Pretty much all facets of the game. We didn't really get to grips with any part of the game. We struggled to gain any momentum with the ball, we weren't as aggressive as we needed to be without the ball.

"I don't think it's a matter of effort or attitude. I don't think it is going out there and not trying, but, like I said, we didn't really come to grips and have the right mindset to tackle an away fixture in Europe.

"It is always tough and we obviously conceded the goal, which was a disappointing set of events, but even after that we didn't really settle down into the game at all.

"You are going to face some pressure when you play away from home in Europe and weather the storm and get to grips with it, but we never really did so that was a disappointment.

"We've got to be a lot more aggressive than we were. We were just lacking a bit of aggression in everything we did. We were a little bit hesitant with the ball, hesitant in our pressing and we can't be that way."

  12. 'Tottenham have to up their game'published at 21:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    FT: AZ 1-0 Tottenham

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

    Tottenham were poor.

Credit to AZ, they played well. Tottenham have to be on their guard as AZ will try to play the same way away from home.

Tottenham have to up their game.

  13. 'How are Spurs going to adjust?'published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Ange Postecgolou has asked for more time to get his squad back, it does look healthier.

What is disappointing more is those shots on target. That tells you everything about Postecgolou's system and set-up.

Questions will be asked if they're not to win this trophy.

How are they going to adjust?

  14. Frankfurt in frontpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    Ajax 1-2 Frankfurt

Frankfurt have turned it around in Amsterdam, with Ellyes Skhiri tucking home a low cross from inside the box to put the German side in front.

Ajax aren't happy - they thought there should have been a foul given earlier in the build-up - but the goal stands.

  15. Rangers 'in the driving seat'published at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    FT: Fenerbahce 1-3 Rangers

    Scott Arfield
Former Rangers midfielder on BBC Radio Scotland

I said it earlier on, just stay in the tie, but they've done more than that. Whatever Barry Ferguson and his team said before this game was there, you could see it was evident.

A special mention to Connor Barron, his work rate is absolutely phenomenal.

A phenomenal performance and they are in the driving seat now.

  16. 'A performance to be proud of'published at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

    FT: Fenerbahce 1-3 Rangers

    Rangers

More from Rangers interim boss Barry Ferguson, speaking to TNT Sports:

"We went a way that I thought would get us a result and we only spent an hour on it. They took the information on and delivered a performance to be proud of.

"You can feel sorry for yourselves when you get a couple of goals disallowed but we went on and got the third goal. Ibrox has been a bit of a problem, but we'll enjoy tonight and then try to fix that problem."

Rangers interim head coach Barry Ferguson, speaking to TNT Sports:

"We've got to remember, it's only half-time in the tie because Fenerbahce have got one of the best managers there's ever been.

"I'm proud of the boys because they've come through a lot this season. They deserve a lot of credit.

"We need to be ready for next Thursday and, I tell you something, I'll have them ready."

  18. 'A big step in the right direction'published at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Chelsea goalscorer Reece James, talking to TNT Sports, said: "It's a big step in the right direction. Coming here is a tough place to go and the atmosphere was amazing. They set up well and it's always frustrating to concede so late on in the game. Our goal was to keep a clean sheet and we could not manage to do that but we got the win.

"It's always good to score and help the team and thankfully we got the win. We know it's another huge game [next week], we need to win and we want to advance and win this competition."

  19. 'Garnacho has got to be more composed'published at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 6 March

Alejandro Garnacho gets you off your seat, but it's that end product. He has got to be more composed.

And Angelino, formerly of Manchester City, has quickly levelled for Roma after that Inaki Williams opener for Athletic Bilbao.
