Dugdale relishing Mourneview Park returnpublished at 18:36 British Summer Time 4 June
Northern Ireland v Portugal (19:00 BST)
Northern Ireland defender Rachel Dugdale is excited at the prospect of returning to Mourneview Park for their Euro 2025 qualifier against Portugal on Tuesday night.
With Windsor Park undergoing maintence work, Northern Ireland have opted to use the home of Irish Premiership side Glenavon in Lurgan for the qualifier.
And Dugdale has fond memories of playing at Mourneview, where she made her first competitive start for her country in a 1-1 draw with Czechia in 2016.
"I’m glad to be back here and on the grass pitch, I think it allows us to play the football we want to play," she told BBC Sport NI.
"It’s a nice change and allows us to be closer to some different fans that don’t travel up to Belfast."
