Ezri Konsa, if he hadn't picked up a knock yesterday he would have broken 115 year old record for the most consecutive wins as a defender for England. Keeps getting overlooked by pundits for some reason.

Please can Utd fans stop pushing for Harry Maguire. He is a brilliant low block defender but in a high line, simply isn’t good enough. Luckily Tuchel sees this even if Utd fans don’t.

Arsenal's England defenders need to find a way to get minutes - on their day, Lewis-Skelly and Ben White both start for England, but they haven't managed to get game time this season. Not sure White's situation with the manager but he should be in the question IMO

100% Jordan Henderson. Even having him around the squad will be a massive bonus. Looks completely at home if called upon to defend a lead in the knockout stages.

    Yep, start getting ready all.

To be fair I'd say Henderson's stock has really risen this season, in my head anyway.

And we've had loads of pro Hendo messages coming in so far today.

How Harry Maguire hasn't got a call is crazy to me! Been consistently one of the best English CB's for years. Definitely deserves a spot on the plane now he is fit.

If Toney is fit and firing i would definitely take him over Solanke, Watkins etc. Maybe take Welbeck as well. Showing good form and can finish and can also perform on the big stage. Done it many times for arsenal and United.

Each player being considered will have their supporters and detractors. England are in the lucky position of having feasible options for every role. Except one. It’s not often we have been able to say that. So it’s Kane plus 3 keepers and 19 outfield players of your choice!

Definitely NOT Eze! Forget the goal... look at how many times he gives the ball away... or breaks down attacks!!! If Kane gets injured we have no other options, if he stays fit we have a chance.

Nothing too exciting. Still doesn’t know his best team and the World Cup itself is different gravy. Hopefully we can progress to the later stages but win it, No. If Kane gets injured we have no other options, if he stays fit we have a chance.
