I would add Stones to the bankers group. Although not starting regularly for City he's crucial to England defence, and can bring the ball into midfield.

England’s 2-0 victory in Albania on Sunday means they are the first European side to play at least six qualifiers and win them all without conceding.

A clean sweep of victories – regardless of goals conceded – is a rare achievement.

Excluding the early years of the World Cup, when teams often played just a handful of preliminary matches, only six European countries have finished with a 100% winning record, with Norway also achieving that feat during this qualifying cycle.

Germany did so on the way to the 2018 tournament, while Spain and the Netherlands, who met in the 2010 final, both qualified for South Africa in perfect style, as did West Germany for the 1982 event.

Spain could become the first side to qualify in perfect fashion twice when they host Turkey in Seville tomorrow and Luis de la Fuente's team, like England, are yet to concede a goal.

The debate around Rogers and Bellingham brings us nicely to the question - who makes your England World Cup squad?

Thomas Tuchel will have to name a 26-man squad for the tournament in North America.

The likes of Harry Kane, Jordan Pickford, Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice seem to be the "bankers," but away from that - it appears all to play for.

Is there anyone that you would add to the "banker" category?

Maybe there's a big name you would leave out, like Cole Palmer, who has missed all the recent camps due to injury.

  4. Bellingham or Rogers?published at 09:04 GMT

The rivalry between childhood friends Jude Bellingham and Morgan Rogers for England's number 10 jersey provides an intriguing sub-plot to Tuchel's World Cup build-up.

Tuchel stresses the battle can remain friendly, although it has almost been stoked and encouraged by the German, so keen is he to create edge and competition in his squad.

Along with Declan Rice, Rogers is the only other England player to feature in all 10 games under Tuchel.

Rogers took his chance impressively when Bellingham was absent after shoulder surgery, then Tuchel kept faith with Aston Villa's 23-year old after he decided against giving one of the global superstars in England's squad an instant recall.

After a 25-minute cameo as a substitute against Serbia at Wembley, Bellingham started in Tirana, delivering a bit of everything that makes him such a passionate point of discussion.

Bellingham showed his range of passing, made trademark driving runs, almost scored in the second half – but also demonstrated petulance when he was shown a yellow card for a foul committed after he lost possession, then looked unhappy at being substituted, which Tuchel said he will review.

It's typically English that people want to criticise Bellingham for his confidence, all the best players have this, we should celebrate it! He's our most gifted player and people have very short memories about how much he's done for us already in tournaments at such a young age.

  6. 'Bellingham is playing catch-up'published at 08:53 GMT

    Conor Coady
Wrexham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

When the dust settles Jude will know it was the right decision to bring him off. What it is with Jude, he thinks at the minute he is playing catch-up.

He missed the last camp, he knows Morgan Rogers has done really well. He wants to play every minute he possibly can to show the manager he can be the main man for England.

We have seen it tonight with the balls he was losing, he was losing simple balls and trying to be too adventurous at times in his own half. I think he feels he is playing catch-up. Rogers is in a great position.

Tuchel said before Sunday's game he would speak to his players about avoiding any needless red cards after Cristiano Ronaldo's dismissal on Thursday meant he could miss Portugal's opening two matches of the World Cup.

Another booking for Bellingham would have led to him being suspended for the start of the tournament.

The more we focus on Bellingham the worse it will be. Let Tuchel solve the situation without added pressure from the press and the fans. For me it's simple. He has flashes of brilliance out-weighed by petulance and arrogance and seems to be an anomaly in the English team spirit.

Can we not look at the positive of JB's behaviour rather than the negative. No player likes to be substituted. They want to play and contribute. Maybe he didn't have his best game in an England Shirt. Maybe he knew that and was frustrated.

England boss Thomas Tuchel being asked whether Jude Bellingham is possibly not buying into the collective of the England team: "That is a bad impression. It should be about the collective. What we did in camp is all about the collective.

"I have to then review it - I was happy about the goal. I had a quick talk with Morgan Rogers and I was sure that everyone celebrate together. I will have a look at it.

"That is not the image we want to transport. We feel everyone is committed and that everyone accepts tough decisions be it before the match or in the match."

Bellingham is a young man who has always been told how amazing he is. It will do him the world of good to play for a manager who doesn't see him as undroppable. Tuchel could be the making of Bellingham if he learns the right lessons.

I think Jude Bellingham is playing like he is under a bit of pressure. I do believe that.

A player of his quality, I think this is the one part of the team that has a bit of a cloud over it.

Not in a negative way, but we're all asking questions. Thomas Tuchel has got to get the best out of Jude. The way England are playing, take the Bellingham situation out of it, they're playing some fantastic football.

The Bellingham situation is just the one we're all asking questions about.

I felt Jude Bellingham played like a player who was playing for his place with pressure on his shoulders in a position he hasn't played in before in an England shirt.

There was a feeling that Bellingham would be a starter for England for years to come. Suddenly, the emergence of Morgan Rogers and the way he fitted into the style that Thomas Tuchel wants has thrown up a lot of questions.

We just saw a couple moments of magic - he finds passes which other players can't find.

England boss Thomas Tuchel, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live about Jude Bellingham: "He has to accept it, he has to accept it. We should not make more out of it than it is. [Morgan] Rogers was not happy when he couldn't start today because he deserves to play, and he wants to play all the time.

"We gave him a bit of a rest because he came with a lot of minutes playing at club [level] and played for us against Serbia. I also don't want to make more out of it. I stick to my words - behaviour is key. Decisions are made, and you have to accept it as a player."
