Jude Bellingham is furious that he is coming off the pitch. He is looking at Thomas Tuchel to say, 'Why? Why am I coming off?' He is absolutely livid.

He is not happy, but he has done the right thing. He has walked off and shook the manager's hand.

England head coach Thomas Tuchel speaking to ITV about Jude Bellingham looking frustrated at being substituted: "Yeah he didn't like it but no-one likes it. But that's how it is, Morgan [Rogers] didn't like to be out and didn't deserve to be out but that was the decision. Jude was also on a yellow card and I made the decision before the second goal and the decision stands."

Lots of positives around Harry Kane this morning then but what about team-mate, Jude Bellingham?

The Real Madrid midfielder has been making headlines again overnight, this time for his reaction to being substituted on Sunday evening.

Here's what his manager has had to say on the matter...

  4. 'A pleasure to watch Kane'published at 07:45 GMT

Harry Kane plays every minute of every game because he does the job.

Playing for his country means a lot to him - it is a pleasure to watch him.

I thought England were top draw tonight. The manager is in a fantastic place going into next year. It was hard at times, but the subs that came on were outstanding.

  5. 'To finish in the manner we have done is exciting'published at 07:42 GMT

England skipper Harry Kane, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "First and foremost, to win eight out of eight and to score 22 goals and concede zero is credit to all the boys - all the lads that have been part of every squad so far.

"Obviously, from a personal point of view, I'm really happy to get a couple of goals for the national team and help the lads out.

"Another night where we needed the guys off the bench to come on and make an impact. We're going to need every player to come on and do their part if we're going to be successful next summer.

"The last few camps have been incredible to be part of. To finish in the manner we have done is exciting. I think he [Thomas Tuchel] is sad he is not going to see us now for four or five months."

England captain and goalscorer Harry Kane, speaking to ITV: "It was a really tough game, one of the toughest we had in the group. We had to be patient and grind them down which we did and we ended up with a 2-0 win and another clean sheet."

On set-piece success: "First half we did outswings then when Saka came on, we know how good he is with the front post so we went front post, got a bit lucky with the flick on but thankfully I was there to put it away."

On impact players: "If you want to go far in any tournament you need a whole squad, you need players who don't start, to come off the bench and make an impact, that's what football is about. It's not just the 11 that play, the boys come on and make a difference."

On the quality of the squad: "It's as good as we've ever had. We're going to go into the tournament as one of the favourites and we have to accept that, it's been like that the past few tournaments now and that's part of it. We've been building, had a great year together with the new coach and it's now to 2026."

I don't want to think of an England without Harry Kane. What he brings to this team is unbelievable.

The way he keeps on producing these numbers is unbelievable and it is credit to him. He is the first and last off the training pitch. I don't want to see this England team without him.

He is our biggest hope going into next year.

I’m pretty sure my grandmother could have scored goals against some of the opposition Kane has faced for his 78 England goals. If Greaves or Charlton had faced the likes of San Marino or Andorra in their careers they’d be on 100 goals at least.

  13. Analysis: Tuchel's well timed changes will be key going into World Cuppublished at 07:19 GMT

The line-up selected was the most Thomas Tuchel had experimented with a starting XI since he officially took charge of England on 1 January.

Debutant Jarell Quansah was just the seventh player to get a first cap under Tuchel across his 10 matches in charge.

The England manager has made a point of giving clarity to his players about who they are directly up against for a place in the team and this side, apart from the strong spine, showed who Tuchel currently sees as the number twos in their respective positions.

Jude Bellingham was making his first start for England since June following a shoulder injury. In his absence, Morgan Rogers' impressive performances have seen an intriguing battle develop for the England number 10 role.

But again, it was Tuchel's tactical acumen and his well-timed substitutions that saw England get another win in this impressive World Cup qualifying campaign.

Against Serbia, it was Eberechi Eze and Phil Foden who combined off the bench to score England's second goal and this time it was Saka and Rashford who teed up Kane for his two goals.

England have missed out in recent major tournaments by fine margins and former manager Gareth Southgate was criticised for at times not making changes when some thought England needed them.

Tuchel has already shown in his club career that he can make decisions at crucial moments to win trophies and with England he is changing games with the array of attacking talent at his disposal from the bench.

  14. Kane scores twice as England complete flawless qualifying campaignpublished at 07:14 GMT

Harry Kane scored twice in the second half as England beat Albania to complete a flawless World Cup qualifying campaign with eight wins from eight.

The Three Lions were already qualified as group winners and Thomas Tuchel made seven changes to the side that beat Serbia at Wembley on Thursday.

Alongside the changes to the starting XI, Tuchel made tactical tweaks with John Stones stepping into midfield whenever England were in possession but despite the victory it was not a vintage England performance.

Kane, who took his personal tally to 78 international goals, scored his first in the 74th minute when he bundled the ball in from close range from substitute Bukayo Saka's corner before he headed in Marcus Rashford's excellent cross eight minutes later.

It was not England's best performance under Tuchel but they had chances to take the lead before Kane's double with Jude Bellingham, Jarrod Bowen and Saka all going close.

Albania were in good form coming into this match themselves, unbeaten in their previous eight matches, and they had a good chance to take the lead but Arber Hoxha shot straight at Dean Henderson at the end of a counter-attack.
