    We know the squad.

Now just a few minutes until we will hear from Sarina Wiegman.

But whilst she’ll no doubt be wanting to focus on her hopes for this summer, expect some challenging questions on the three high-profile players who won’t be in Switzerland following a chaotic 10 days.

Right, you know about the main contenders, but let's hear what a defending champion, England boss Sarina Wiegman, has to say about the tournament and her squad selection.

France made it through to the semi-finals of the Nations League as the only team in the top tier with a 100% record, winning all of their six games against decent opposition that included Euro 2025 finalists Norway, Iceland and hosts Switzerland. They are the top-ranked side in England's group.

Norway, meanwhile, are the top-ranked side in Group A, which includes Iceland, Finland and Switzerland. Topping that group would likely pit them against Belgium, Italy or Portugal in the quarter-finals.

And what about Sweden? They beat Italy, Denmark and Wales to top their group in the Nations League and qualify for the semi-finals alongside Spain, Germany and France. They are in Germany's group at the Euros so would line up against a side from England's group in the quarter-finals, should they progress.

  17. James inclusion 'a formula that has worked'published at 14:30 British Summer Time 5 June

    Rachel Brown-Finnis
Ex-England goalkeeper, speaking to BBC Sport

The inclusion of Lauren James is similar to the last World Cup when Millie Bright was out for a good period. She played the majority of the games in the end.

It is a formula that has worked, Sarina Wiegman knows how to manage a player coming back from injury before a tournament.

  18. Euro 2025 - the favouritespublished at 14:30 British Summer Time 5 June

As we have seen, there is no easy route to the final for defending champions England.

Should they make it past tough matches against France, Netherlands and Wales in their group, finishing top could put them on a collision course with world champions Spain in the semi-finals.

As mentioned, finishing second may set up a quarter-final tie against Germany - currently ranked second in Europe, behind Spain.

Clearly, major tournaments rarely run to plan, but should matches go with rankings then the leading two contenders - Spain and Germany - would meet in the final.

  20. Euro 2025 - the knockout stagespublished at 14:26 British Summer Time 5 June

England are in what looks to the the toughest group, with three of Europe's top five nations - France (3rd), England (4th), Netherlands (5th), as well as Wales (16th) - in Group D.

If progress follows rankings, and the Lionesses go through as runners-up, then they could face a quarter-final against Germany, who are the highest-ranked team in Group C.

Should England top their group, they will play the runners-up from Group C, which also includes Sweden (6th), who recently won through to the semi-finals of the Nations League, Denmark (11th), and Poland (15th).

Here is the schedule for the knockout stages:
