Denver Hume threads a sharp through pass into the box.

Momentum is gaining for the visitors now - can they capitalise?

  2. Postpublished at 12:59 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Crawley 0-0 Reading

Lewis Wing lines up a trademark 20-yard blast from a Billy Bodin square ball across the box but his effort cannons off a defender and is scrambled away.

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 12:58 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Notts County

Notts haven't really got going as yet and the stats bear this out.

They're edging the possession battle but have yet to register an attempt at goal. Wimbledon have had nine.

The home fans call for a penalty after Zak Johnson loses possession in a dangerous position. Omar Bugiel drives down the left and sends in a cross which hits Johnson's hand.

    Natural position. Play on.

Crawley v ReadingImage source, Rex Features

Reading have enjoyed a good spell of pressure, without really testing Jojo Wollacott, but the hosts pinch possession on the edge of their own box and spring forward with Kami Doyle sending Will Swan clear down the left before racing into the box, only for Swan's low cross into the box to be cut out by keeper Joel Pereira.

Grimsby haven't haven't had many chances, but have had lots of possession.

Walsall need more consistent pressure in forward areas and consistent possession.

  6. goal

GOAL: AFC Wimbledon 1-0 Notts Countypublished at 12:53 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Joe Lewis (21 mins)

    Breakthrough!

The Dons have been causing real problems with balls into the box and go ahead through this route.

Marcus Browne's free-kick is deflected by the wall for a corner and James Tilley sends it to the back post.

Joe Lewis rises highest and nods it back across goal. It slips past Matty Stevens and drops into the far corner of the net.

  7. Postpublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Stockport 0-0 Charlton

Charlton defender Kayne Ramsay finds himself with the ball at his feet, 35-odd yards from goal and thinks 'why not'...

He unleashes a fierce rising drive which Corey Addai pats down from above his head in the centre of goal to gather at the second attempt.

Really good, end-to-end game, this... the Hatters are straight down the other end but Callum Camps pulls a low shot past the upright.

  8. goal

GOAL: Walsall 1-1 Grimsbypublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Jayden Luker (20 mins)

Grimsby get a free kick on the right and Jason Svanthorsson passes it through to an unmarked Jayden Luker.

The teenager gets his angles spot on as his strike glides past the gap in the Walsall defence and beats the Saddlers keeper.

Clean as can be that shot and now the visitors get themselves a fresh start.

  9. Postpublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Walsall 1-0 Grimsby

Lewis Cass gets ousted by Albert Adomah to gain possession of the ball and has to try and scramble to win it back.

He's no match for Adomah, who unleashes a shot but luckily for Cass, it goes well wide.

  10. Postpublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Crawley 0-0 Reading

A sight of goal for the hosts, who have begun well, typically bossing possession.

Will Swan's cut-back is perfect for Tyreece John-Jules but he suffers an unfortunate slip as he tries to get his shot away.

  11. CLOSE!published at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Stockport 0-0 Charlton

Josh Edwards sees a long-throw cleared back to him but whips a wicked curling cross to the far post where Luke Berry ghosts in, only to prod the bouncing ball over the Stockport bar from a yard or so out.

A real let-off for the hosts...

  12. Postpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Notts County

Notts are enjoying more possession in the home half after a difficult opening 10 minutes, but are yet to create a clear-cut opening.

The ball then drops to Charlie Whitaker 10 yards out, but Isaac Ogundere does well to close down the space and shepherd him away from goal.

  13. Postpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Walsall 1-0 Grimsby

A sizzling ball is cut into the box by Ellis Harrison on the right but Lewis Cass is there to block it.

Walsall get themselves a corner kick, though Grimsby deal with it well to see the pressure eased.

Looking lively indeed over in the West Midlands.

  14. Postpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Walsall 1-0 Grimsby

Walsall cut it close for another goal - but this one an equaliser for Grimsby!

Harry Williams tries to chest a clearance but it's not a convincing one and he's lucky to see it out for a corner.

The Mariners loop in a cross but Saddlers keeper Tommy Simkin coolly comes out to collect.

  15. Postpublished at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Crawley 0-0 Reading

Not much in the way of goalmouth action in the Sussex sun, though Crawley have made a positive start and Tyreece John-Jules wanted a penalty after going down under a high ball in the box.

At the other end Town keeper Jojo Wollacott almost made an almighty blunder with a clearance kick but managed to clear his lines after slipping following a heavy touch from a backpass.

  16. Postpublished at 12:41 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Notts County

Josh Neufville's ball across the box is just too high for Omar Bugiel.

Alistair Smith now flashes a shot wide, but it took a deflection and it's another corner. Joe Lewis gets a head on the set-piece, but the visitors' defence does enough in front of their travelling support.

There must be a few nerves jangling in there at the mo. Notts are under the pump a bit here.

  17. Postpublished at 12:38 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Stockport 0-0 Charlton

    Blistering start at Edgeley Park.

Stockport almost bundle their way through the Charlton backline causing an almighty scramble in the box but Callum Camps drive from just outside the box flicks off a defender and past the post.

Thierry Small then has his heart in his mouth for a moment after a tangle of legs with Camps in the box after a perfect Ollie Norwood pass inside the full-back but referee Martin Coy waves away the home appeals for a spot-kick.

  18. Postpublished at 12:37 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    AFC Wimbledon 0-0 Notts County

Now space opens up for Marcus Browne just outside the 18-yard box.

He has a dip, but his connection isn't the best and the shot drifts wide.

More danger from the Dons, though.

  19. goal

GOAL: Walsall 1-0 Grimsbypublished at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Ellis Harrison (5 mins)

Now this is the Walsall we've been waiting to see these past few weeks.

Grimsby lose possession and the Saddlers take the opportunity to drive up the pitch.

It spreads out the Mariners defence and Albert Adomah sets the ball off to Ellis Harrison, who rifles a diagonal shot right into the bottom left corner.

    That's got Bescot buzzing.

  20. 'We are just consistent' - Sadlerpublished at 12:36 Greenwich Mean Time 8 March

    Walsall 0-0 Grimsby

    Walsall

Walsall head coach Mat Sadler speaking to BBC Radio WM:

"You could see that the crowd were right behind Carlisle [on Tuesday], but for us we remained calm amongst all of that. We played football in the way we wanted to play it. We battled, fought, scrapped and gave everything we possibly could.

"We created a load of chances and on a another day one of those drops, but it didn't on Tuesday night for a winner - If you can't win it, don't lose it.

"We are just consistent, I think that is the biggest thing for me. That is who I'll be and that's what I'll do. It's the way people have seen me be and I'll continue whatever the weather.

"There is no reason for us not to be like that [consistent]. So, we are in a very good position and are a good team, and we all know that and have seen that, but it is always onto the next game."
