- This will be the first league meeting between Birmingham City and Portsmouth since March 2012, a 4-1 victory for Pompey in the Championship. 
- Portsmouth have won just one of their last 11 away league games against Birmingham City (D3 L7), a 2-0 victory at St Andrew’s in November 2007 in the Premier League.
