    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Into the final 10 minutes at Brentford.

This could still go either way. For a mid-table second tier side with a raft of changes to their starting XI, Sheffield Wednesday have really impressed.

  2. 'This could go either way'published at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Australia keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

This could go either way. Both sides are definitely trying to push and find that winner. The game has now dropped off a little bit in terms of Sheffield Wednesday dropping deeper again, like what we've seen for the vast majority of this game and Brentford with all of the possession but we know Sheffield Wednesday can cause a big threat.

  3. Postpublished at 21:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Southampton 3-2 Stoke City

The last time these sides met in the League Cup was also a fourth round tie, back in 2014. That game also finished 3-2 to Southampton.

We will have EIGHT minutes of added time.

  4. goal

GOAL - Southampton 3-2 Stoke Citypublished at 21:33 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    James Bree (88 mins)

    Out of nothing!

An unlikely hero for the Saints, as centre back James Bree has a look up from 25 yards out, spots no covering defenders and powers an effort into the keeper's bottom right corner.

That could be a stunning winner.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

Eric Junior Bocat is replaced by Wouter Burger for Stoke.

Replays show that ball was half over the line before Sugawara intervened. Brilliant defending, but Stoke have Southampton on the ropes.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

    Off the line!

Million Manhoef is played in one on one by Lewis Koumas, he bundles the ball over the top of Aaron Ramsdale and it bounces towards goal - only be cleared by the sliding Yukinari Sugawara.

    Southampton teetering on the brink.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:29 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

The visitors are going for this one. A triple attacking change as Josh Windass, Jamal Lowe and Michael Smith are sent on for Ike Ugbo, Anthony Musaba and scorer Djeidi Gassama.

For Brentford, Jayden Meghoma makes way for Made Roerslev.

  8. Brentford 'rocked' after equaliserpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Australia keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think now Brentford have lifted their game a little bit. They were rocked by that equaliser and now they have lifted the tempo a bit. And now that they have lifted the tempo, it has caused Sheffield Wednesday a bit of a problem because they can't get back into shape as quickly anymore.

Up to this point I felt Brentford had been a little bit slow in that transition due to too many passes and a bit sloppy at times in possession.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

Sam Amo-Ameyaw and Kamaldeen Sulemana are the final attacking subs thrown on by Russell Martin.

Centre back Jan Bednarek makes way, as does Adam Armstrong.

A funny moment there when Ingelsson was trying to take a throw-in for Sheffield Wednesday.

He'd leant against the boards as he was looking to take a long throw and ended up having a disagreement with one of the Brentford fans about where it should be taken from.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

Should Stoke have had a penalty?

Million Manhoef won the ball 25 yards from goal, danced between a couple of Southampton players then went down under pressure in the box.

The referee said no. Looking at replays, it would have been soft.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

A raft of changes at Brentford. Yoann Wissa and Mikkel Damsgaard are on for the hosts, replacing Fabio Carvalho and Mathias Jensen.

Earlier, a double change for the visitors saw Liam Palmer and Di'Shon Bernard replace Sean Fusire and Dominic Iorfa.

  13. 'It's a sensational strike'published at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

    Mark Schwarzer
Former Australia keeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's a brilliant shot from distance there.

Gassama pounces on it and it rockets into the left hand corner. It's a sensational strike.

    Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

Jack Bonham, for the second time tonight, is down on the turf. This time after clattering his own defender Jaden Dixon while collecting a high cross.

He's fine to continue after some magic spray.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Southampton 2-2 Stoke City

While I was distracted by that Wednesday goal, Stoke made a double change.

Andrew Moran and Million Manhoef replaced Sol Sidibe and Andre Vidigal.

  16. CLOSE!published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Wednesday suddenly have so much belief!

Ike Ugbo does brilliantly down the left, cuts inside and fires a shot that Mark Flekken has to beat away.

Sub Liam Palmer then has a go from distance, but this is an easier save for Flekken.

  17. Postpublished at 21:17 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Both Championship sides have come from behind to level at Premier League opponents, who both should have been well out of sight.

As it stands, both games are going to penalties.

    Pray for my fingers.

  18. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesday

    Alex Howell

The Wednesday fans are the only supporters you can hear chanting at the moment.

    Brentford had been so comfortable.

  19. goal

GOAL - Brentford 1-1 Sheffield Wednesdaypublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 29 October

    Djeidi Gassama (57 mins)

    WHAT A GOAL!

Mark Flekken collects a corner, and tries to roll it out quickly to Kevin Schade.

However, Djeidi Gassama makes the interception 35 yards out, turns, sees no one closing him down, and decides to place a brilliant long-range effort into the bottom left corner.

Stunning goal, and Wednesday are level.

A double attacking change from Southampton.

Stoke-born Ben Brereton Diaz and man mountain Paul Onuachu replace Cameron Archer and Mateus Fernandes.
