  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham 0-0 Burton

The 10 men of relegation-battling Burton Albion are holding on against promotion-chasing Wrexham at the break.

Charlie Webster was shown red after 10 minutes for the visitors for a high challenge on George Dobson but the Brewers have dug in well and limited the hosts in terms of clear cut chances.

It's as you were in terms of league positions and points gap for Wrexham and Wycombe with both drawing at the halfway stage.

  2. goal

GOAL: Walsall 2-3 Port Valepublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 5 April

    Lorent Tolaj (47 mins)

    No mistake.

Lorent Tolaj converts to put the Vale back in front.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 5 April

    Cheltenham 0-0 Doncaster

Not a lot has happened in this one in truth.

The home side lead the yellow card count 2-1 after a late away card - Ryan Wood cautioned for bringing down Jordan Thomas.

Let's hope for more excitement in the second 45.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 5 April

    Reading 0-0 Wycombe

Plenty of Wycombe dominance, plenty of yellow cards but no goals.

Reading have grown into the contest towards the end of the half but not a great deal to shout about at the Select Car Leasing Stadium at the interval.

Work to do for these respective play-off and promotion hunters.

  5. PENALTY TO VALEpublished at 13:17 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 2-2 Port Vale

    My goodness.

A loose pass from Walsall is poached by Lorent Tolaj, who bursts towards goal.

In a scramble, Oisin McEntee trips him up and the referee points to the spot.

  6. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:16 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham 0-0 Burton

Five minutes added on at the end of the first half, largely due to the stoppage when Charlie Webster was sent off for Burton for his high tackle on George Dobson.

  7. 'Vale have adapted better in this game'published at 13:16 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 2-2 Port Vale

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

Ben Garrity puts a finger up to the fans to say, 'that's who I am, and that is what I can do!'.

It is poor defending from Walsall, but he absolutely thrashes it into the back of the net.

Vale have adapted better in this game and probably looked the most threatening.

  8. INJURY TIMEpublished at 13:16 British Summer Time 5 April

    Reading 0-0 Wycombe

Reading are ending the half a little stronger now. Chem Campbell tries to angle one in at the near post but it flashes wide.

The Royals are at least playing further up the pitch as we enter three added minutes at the end of the first half.

  9. Postpublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 5 April

    Tranmere 0-0 Chesterfield

First big save of the game comes from Luke McGee.

Ollie Banks is bearing down one on one on the goalkeeper, McGee saves well then Michael Olakigbe sends the rebound wide of the post.

  10. goal

GOAL: Walsall 2-2 Port Valepublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 5 April

    Ben Garrity (41 mins)

Port Vale and long throws are proving so dangerous.

Mitch Clark's powerful throw travels far yet again and is helped on towards captain Ben Garrity, who thunders it into the Walsall net.

Parity at the Bescot yet again.

  11. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 2-1 Port Vale

There some shouts for a penalty in the home side's box when the feet of a Walsall and Vale player clash in the air but the referee waves it away.

Lorent Tolaj goes for goal as the ball makes it's way out of the penalty area but it's nothing that's ever going to make the keeper sweat. Well high of the target.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time 5 April

    Tranmere 0-0 Chesterfield

First caution in this match goes to Paul Cook's former Bristol Rovers man Lewis Gordon.

It gives Rovers a free kick to the right of the goal some 40 yards out.

Regan Hendry sent the ball into the box but Ryan Boot catches it comfortably in front of the Chesterfield net.

  13. The Saddlers out in their numbers...published at 13:09 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 2-1 Port Vale

    Charlie Lakin
Walsall midfielder on BBC Radio WM

The Walsall support have come out in their numbers once again today.

The fans are so important in helping the players get a result.

  14. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham 0-0 Burton

Jay Rodriguez does appear to be getting some medical treatment on the Wrexham bench after he was withdrawn early, so perhaps it was a forced change for Phil Parkinson.

  15. 'Bowyer is not a happy man'published at 13:09 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham 0-0 Burton

    Chris Wathan
BBC Sport Wales at Stok Cae Ras

Burton boss Gary Bowyer is not a happy man, to say the least.

Charlie Webster walked off shaking his head and seemed to be saying 'No way' after being shown the red card.

His manager looked to have sympathy for the midfielder (even if replays suggest referee Seb Stockbridge got the decision right) and Bowyer's been pointing plenty of fingers at the officials ever since.

Burton have responded well though. In a way, this could become a little harder for the hosts as the yellow shirts sit deep and challenge Wrexham to break them down.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 2-1 Port Vale

Vale's Kyle John is clearly in pain as he's helped off the pitch, walking gingerly indeed.

He's only just made his return from injury for today's encounter and now needs to be replaced by Sam Hart.

A big disappointment for John, as well as the away fans who would have been happy to see him back.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 5 April

    Cheltenham 0-0 Doncaster

A second caution in quick succession as Tommy Backwell goes into the book.

The last time Doncaster played at Cheltenham, in League One in 2022, they were down to 10 men after 48 minutes, I'm not sure if Backwell will remember or be aware of this, but he is now on this metaphorical tightrope.

If Rovers are to keep their promotion push alive they will be desperate to learn from that mistake and keep 11 on the field for the remainder of this game and season.

  18. YELLOW CARDSpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 5 April

    Reading 0-0 Wycombe

Reading's Harvey Knibbs is late into a challenge on Wycombe's Josh Scowen and he's shown a yellow card.

Almost immediately after, Chairboys striker Richard Kone leads with his arm into an aerial challenge with Amadou Mbengue and is also booked.

  19. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:06 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham 0-0 Burton

Just moments before that sub, Ollie Rathbone was booked for a late challenge, which led to a Burton free-kick in a dangerous area.

The Brewers can't make the set-piece count but they recycle it and Julian Larsson gets in behind, only to be met by Arthur Okonkwo who rushes out of his goal to smother the ball.

    Eventful couple of minutes.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 2-1 Port Vale

Now it's Walsall's Liam Gordon's turn to find himself in the bad books.

He's warned for a foul on Kyle John.

Though fortunately, the visitors aren't to capitalise on the resulting free kick.
