  1. goal

GOAL: Walsall 2-1 Port Valepublished at 12:43 British Summer Time 5 April

    Levi Amantchi (11 mins)

This game is delivering and it's only just got into double figures on the minute clock.

There's more impressive spectacle as Walsall defender Oisin McEntee shows some superb skill to get his foot on a long throw and pass it the way of Levi Amantchi.

The forward takes one touch to lay it down, ready for him to rifle into the corner from right outside the next.

  2. 'An exciting start'published at 12:42 British Summer Time 5 April

    Charlie Lakin
Walsall midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Taylor Allen has been reliable from the spot all season.

This is exactly what Walsall needed to do, they had to get the goal back and we are right back in it.

Both teams have had their fair share of chances early on and an an exciting start, lets hope this continues.

  3. RED CARD: Charlie Webster (Burton)published at 12:41 British Summer Time 5 April

Oh dear. Burton midfielder Charlie Webster flies into a high tackle on George Dobson and he's off!

A huge blow for the League One relegation battlers as one of their most influential players heads for an early bath.

This will be a long 80 minutes with a man less against a promotion-chasing side now...

  4. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham 0-0 Burton

Wrexham with their first real moment of promise as James McClean whips a cross into the box and it's met by Ryan Longman but he heads just wide.

  5. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 5 April

    Cheltenham 0-0 Doncaster

  6. Postpublished at 12:39 British Summer Time 5 April

    Reading 0-0 Wycombe

A strong start by Wycombe and they're penning Reading back into their own half.

The Chairboys win a corner and scoop it to the back post for Cameron Humphreys but he heads into the side-netting.

  7. goal

GOAL: Walsall 1-1 Port Valepublished at 12:38 British Summer Time 5 April

    Taylor Allen (7 mins pen)

    Gorgeous.

A pacey arrow sent in to the left corner. Nerves of steel from Taylor Allen to see the home side even the score line.

  8. PENALTY TO WALSALLpublished at 12:38 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 0-1 Port Vale

    Hold up.

A handball decision goes against Vale's Jayden Stockley and Walsall are gifted the chance to get things level already.

  9. goal

GOAL: Walsall 0-1 Port Valepublished at 12:36 British Summer Time 5 April

    Lorent Tolaj (4 mins)

    Exceptional.

In mere minutes, the ball has found the ball of both nets but this acrobatic bicycle kick from Lorent Tolaj will be the only one that counts.

Walsall don't clear a long throw in their own final third and when it finds Tolaj on the right hand side of the box, he turns gymnast to see it fly in for an opener.

On closer inspection, it appears the ball came back off the post and hit the goalkeeper before crossing the line so that might go down as an own goal eventually, but still great athleticism from Tolaj.

  10. 'You have put them on the back foot'published at 12:36 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 0-0 Port Vale

    Charlie Lakin
Walsall midfielder on BBC Radio WM

That was the prefect start, even though the goal was disallowed.

You have put them on the back foot already and put Port Vale right on the edge early on.

  11. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:36 British Summer Time 5 April

    Walsall 0-0 Port Vale

Liam Gordon's evasive footwork outfoxed the Valiant defence and set up a lovely cross into Jamille Matt.

The Jamaican nods it into the net for a blistering start but the cheers are soon following by disappointed boos when the flag is raised against.

There's a push from Matt on the Vale defender. No goal.

  12. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 12:34 British Summer Time 5 April

    Reading 0-0 Wycombe

Almost a dream start for Wycombe...

First, Adam Reach pounces on a loose backpass and tries to lob Joel Pereira in the Reading goal, but he tips it behind for a corner.

The Chairboys then have the ball in the net through Xavier Simons from the set-piece but it's ruled out for offside.

He was coming back from an offside position when he nodded home.

It’s a gloriously sunny Racecourse Ground and who would have thought there’s at least one Hollywood A-Lister who’d marked the visit of Burton Albion in their diaries.

Green Lantern, Deadpool and Detective Pikachu star, part-owner Ryan Reynolds is here today. He’s been busy signing autographs and filming selfie videos for the early birds inside the ground.

And with Wrexham flying high in League One, who can blame him. They’re four unbeaten as they look for back-to-back promotions. They did need Sam Smith to haul them back into it in drawing 2-2 with struggling Cambridge in the week though. Smith starts together with one-time England man Jay Rodriguez, still going at 35.

Burton were brilliant in turning things around for three points over Leyton Orient in midweek. Gary Bowyer’s side are refusing to give up the fight and all their positive play flows through Lincoln loanee JJ McKiernan. And, keep an eye on Rumarn Burrell. Signed from Cove Rangers, he’s finding his feet in League One, with eight so far, including Tuesday’s winner.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson sticks with the same starting line-up from the 2-2 draw at Cambridge in midweek.

Gary Bowyer has been forced into one change for Burton Albion following their 2-1 win over Leyton Orient.

Captain Ryan Sweeney is ruled out with a head injury he sustained in that victory.

He's replaced at the back by Jack Armer.

Reading boss Noel Hunt makes four changes from the 3-0 defeat at Blackpool on Tuesday night.

Tyler Bindon, Amadou Mbengue, Mamadi Camara and Andre Garcia all come in.

Tivonge Rushesha, Michael Stickland, Andy Yiadom and Jayden Wareham drop to the bench.

Mike Dodds makes two alterations to his Wycombe side after they were held to a goalless draw by bottom side Shrewsbury in midweek.

Josh Scowen and Adam Reach start in place of Jasper Pattenden and Alex Lowry, who are among the subs.

  17. Saddlers unchanged; John returns for Vale's one switchpublished at 12:24 British Summer Time 5 April

Walsall v Port Vale (12:30 BST)

    Walsall XIImage source, Opta

Walsall boss Mat Sadler sticks with the same squad who eked a 2-2 draw out of Doncaster Rovers last time out.

There's no Charlie Lakin or Brandon Comley on the substitutes bench this time round though, with George Hall and Ethan Wheatley keeping the seats warm instead.

Port Vale boss Darren Moore makes one change as Kyle John returns after two games out to see Jack Shorrock rotated to the bench.

The Valiants also welcome the sight of George Byers, who is available as a substitute after an injury rocked season.

Midfielder Ben Garrity dons the skippers arm band and his presence could be game changing, with the Vale only losing three league games with him in the squad.

A glorious day in North Wales where you can enter your own "It's Always Sunny..." gags.

No Rob McElhenney here today but Ryan Reynolds has flown in for the game where Wrexham hope to continue their push for automatic promotion and keep their noses ahead of rivals Wycombe.

If it is getting tense at the top - especially after those dropped points at Cambridge - Reynolds isn't showing it. As cool as you'd expect an A-lister in sunglasses to be, the club's co-owner has been busy chatting with fans and taking selfies on the side of the pitch as the two teams warm up.

  19. Red Dragons firing up or Burton's escape brewing?published at 12:19 British Summer Time 5 April

    Wrexham v Burton (12:30 BST)

This is a big game at the Racecourse Ground between two sides battling at opposite ends of the table.

Wrexham occupy second spot and a win will ensure they end the day in the automatic promotion places.

The Red Dragons had won three on the bounce before a 2-2 draw at second from bottom Cambridge in midweek, and have picked up six victories from their past nine games (D2 L1).

That draw with Cambridge for Wrexham might just give Burton Albion added hope today as they look to try and continue their great escape.

The Brewers were bottom of the league and 11 points from safety in January but now find themselves just three points behind Bristol Rovers with a game in hand following an impressive 2-1 win over Leyton Orient last time out.

  20. The Rob Couhig derby?published at 12:17 British Summer Time 5 April

    Reading v Wycombe (12:30 BST)

Rob Couhig at Reading's Select Car Leasing StadiumImage source, Rex Features

Reading's seemingly never-ending off-field issues have continued this week with owner Dai Yongge given more time to sell the club by the EFL and potential buyer Rob Couhig saying his attempts to take over have been "exhausting".

US businessman and lawyer Couhig's previous club Wycombe are the visitors to Berkshire today looking to keep their automatic promotion bid on track.

The Royals are still in a play-off hunt despite the ownership drama and had been on an 11-game unbeaten run until they lost 3-0 at Blackpool on Tuesday night.

A point would be enough for Reading to move back into the top six before Bolton play later, while the Chairboys will look to pile the pressure on Wrexham, who host Burton Albion, and could go second if they win and the Red Dragons lose.
