    Right ok, yeah, work.

Going back to the point about the team finishing 11th in the Premier League potentially earning a spot in Europe - let's take a look at the full table and how it looks as we head into this international break.

I'm not going to lie, we're never able to get through everyone's messages. It's just how it is.

However, the fact I can't upload every single cat/dog/hamster (no hamster pictures yet) is causing me great sadness.

Brilliant content though from you all. Thank you so much for all your get involved's today!

  4. How 11th-place could mean European qualificationpublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March

An image of the Conference League footballImage source, Getty Images

Finishing 11th place in the Premier League could mean European qualification for a club as Newcastle still chase top four ambitions, after already making history for their club in the EFL Cup.

This is because Newcastle, who now have a Conference League play-off spot in the bag after winning the EFL Cup, will still hope to qualify for the Champions League or Europa League via their league position.

If they achieve that, the Conference League spot would be passed on to the next highest-ranked team in the league, who have not already qualified for Europe.

That team could potentially finish as low as 11th - and the Premier League has explained a number of scenarios where that would be the case.

    • Liverpool, Arsenal, Nottingham Forest Man City qualify for Champions League as the top four
    • Newcastle finish fifth and gain the extra Champions League spot for English clubs' performances in Europe this season
    • Brighton qualify for the Europa League by finishing 6th
    • Bournemouth finish seventh and qualify for the Europa League by winning the FA Cup
    • Chelsea finish 8th and qualify for the Europa League by winning the Conference League
    • Aston Villa finish 9th but qualify for the Champions League by winning it
    • Man Utd or Tottenham finish 10th but qualify for the Champions League by winning the Europa League

So, the Conference League spot earned by Newcastle could not go to any of the top 10 and would be allocated to the team finishing 11th.

As it stands that team would be Thomas Franks' Brentford side, who are two points above Crystal Palace.

22 years ago, my friend bought me this mug. I vowed to smash it the day we won something. I've kept it ready for that moment for 22 years. Couldn't break it. The nostalgia means I will keep it forever as a reminder of the journey we've been through with the club.

Newcastle defenders Dan Burn and Tino Livramento, along with the suspended Anthony Gordon on the sidelines, enjoyed contrasting emotions to Liverpool's Jarell Quansah and Curtis Jones at Wembley on Sunday.

But this morning all five players reported for England duty at St George's Park.

From being locked in battle on the football field to international team-mates in under 24 hours, they will share the same schedule for the next week, as detailed by this graphic posted by the England team on X this morning:

Geordie royalty Ant and Dec were at the game yesterday and were captured greatly enjoying themselves at the full-time whistle.

They posted a story on their Instagram celebrating but have been quiet on X since this post prior to the game.

Rocky the dog, who "predicted" the win before a ball was even kicked!

I mean, this had to go in the live today, right?

Took my 85-year-old dad to Wembley yesterday. His first visit since we last won a domestic cup in 1955. In hindsight I should probably have taken him to some of the other finals in between.
