Livingston thrashed Kelty Hearts to seal a place in the Premier Sports Cup last 16 as one of the best group runners-up.

Andy Winter headed Livi in front in the opening minute and debutant Adam Montgomery struck the hosts' second.

Robbie Muirhead's free-kick gave made it three and he nodded his second before the break.

Two more goals followed late in the game, Stevie May and Shane Blaney scoring with headers.

David Martindale's side go into Sunday's last-16 draw and begin their Premiership campaign next Saturday away to Kilmarnock, who won Group H.
