  11. Saints hanging in there on difficult nightpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 8 August

    St Mirren 0-0 Brann

    Tom English
    BBC Scotland's chief sports writer

The blessing for St Mirren is that it's still 0-0, but there's a Brann goal coming here. They're totally on top and have a refinement to their play that St Mirren just don't have tonight.

Stephen Robinson's team are having to fight hard to keep it goalless. Too much hit-and-hope about them right now. They need a few good moments to get their confidence up. Brann very comfortable.

Joachim Soltvedt lashes a left-footed drive just wide from the edge of the box with Ellery Balcombe rooted to the spot.

Balcombe is down wincing and rubbing his hamstring, but he looks like he's fine to continue for now.

    St Mirren 0-0 Brann

Stephen Robinson is absolutely raging at his players here - they are being completely overrun.

Brann coast into the St Mirren box once more and Niklas Castro should really open the scoring.

His shot is too close to Ellery Balcombe though and the home keeper makes a sharp save down to his right.

Huge penalty shout for Kilmarnock, but somehow it's not given.

  20. We hear you knocking...published at 20:12 British Summer Time 8 August

    St Mirren 0-0 SK Brann

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at SMISA Stadium

Brann are showing real threat directly on St Mirren's goal. So comfortable on the ball and then, suddenly, they get in.

On balance, the visitors probably deserve to be ahead at this stage.

In the words of Stephen Robinson, St Mirren need to "show no fear" and get a grip of the ball.
