Partick Thistle secured their SWPL status for next season with a 2-0 victory over Queen's Park.

The already-relegated visitors were reduced to 10 players after just 20 minutes when Murron Cunningham was sent of.

It didn't take long with the extra player for Thistle to find the opener, striker Carla Boyce tapped home Tiree Burchill's cross on the 25th minute.

Boyce got the second from the penalty spot with just two minutes of the first half left before the sides played out a goalless second half.

The result means Thistle are officially safe for another season as they moved five clear of the drop before the final game.
