Go on Grimsby. The better side for much of the match. Do the job on penalties.

I remember when United celebrated late goals against Milan and Bayern Munich, not Grimsby Town

    What a match.

Fair play to Grimsby, absolutely brilliant in that first half, but the longer the game went on United made the big substitutions and Grimsby just faded out. Mbeumo got the goal back and then United pushed Grimsby back and Maguire at the death to bring them level.

Grimsby have done themselves proud already but can they still find a way to win on penalties?

What a game. What a night. You feel that Grimsby are a little shell-shocked, first to have that lead and then all of a sudden they feel it slip by.

Whatever happens, DO NOT let Amorim off the hook for this. The team is scraping goals in spite of his coaching, not because of it.

That decision to wrongly deny Grimsby a third is one of the worst decisions you'll ever see! The pass isnt going to the guy that scored! Maguire has deflected the ball to him! Horrific and so unfair!

    Grimsby 2-2 Man Utd

Harry Maguire is now back defending a Grimsby break, before Manchester United then win another corner.

Can they get the job done now? The ball lands at Kobbe Mainoo's feet at the back post, but he can't control it and the ball rolls out of play.

Maguire nearly scored moments earlier. He just ghosts in at the back post, two yards out, a simple header. He shrugs off Warren and plants the header in the back of the net. Heartbreak for Grimsby.
