Great counter attack, great pace, good finish.

The last 10-15 minutes Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo caused some problems. Why not start them together tonight?

  9. Postpublished at 21:38 Greenwich Mean Time

    Newcastle 3-1 Brentford

    Chris Waddle
Former Newcastle & England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think Newcastle will want Manchester United in the last four.

I know they beat Manchester City at the weekend and everyone says the new manager is going to turn things around but they are not there yet.

Newcastle will fancy their chances against them.

It's a right offside call from the officials, but what it does is that it gives Southampton that little bit more of confidence that they can get something out of this game.

    Newcastle 3-0 Brentford

    Chris Waddle
Former Newcastle & England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Ben Mee will be disappointed that didn't go in. It was a great ball into the box and he arrived at the far post, no real challenge, and he's missed the target.

What is this rubbish about VAR for the 2nd [Arsenal] goal. It would have corrected a linesman mistake, surely that's what we want in a game?
