For Leicester, they're going to want to gamble. But you see there that they gamble and are left a little bit exposed at the back.

  8. Postpublished at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 1-0 Crystal Palace

Alessia Russo is unleashed again and charges down on Palace keeper Shae Yanez before the whistle blows for offside.

  10. Postpublished at 14:19 Greenwich Mean Time

    Arsenal 1-0 Crystal Palace

Only Man City's Khadija Shaw (21) scored more WSL goals in 2024 than Alessia Russo (14) and the Arsenal striker came close to opening her 2025 account.

She found plenty of space in between Palace's defenders but was always stretching to get to the cross.

  11. Postpublished at 14:19 Greenwich Mean Time

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

We're nearing the end of the second half, but there's bound to be a good chunk of added time given the number of stoppages.

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

    Gilly Flaherty
Former Arsenal and England defender on BBC iPlayer

I think [Missy Goodwin] had a really good game for Leicester and I think it's just that final third decision making - sometimes when she does beat a player, can you sit rather than trying to beat them again? But that'll come with experience and age.

    Tottenham 1-0 Leicester

Oh! What a goal that would have been! Bethany England strikes from distance but her effort smashes against the crossbar and bounces away from the goal. It looked like it may bounce into the net.

Crystal Palace make their first attacking move of the day, pushing forward down the right, but it comes to nothing.

Palace have only scored eight goals in the league this season.

It's been all Arsenal so far.

The Tottenham-Leicester game is one of the most disjointed and scrappy games I've seen for ages. Least mistakes wins.
