Tottenham were sitting at maybe first or second gear if anything. They've got a lot to improve on in this second half.

Leicester were creating chances and they looked more positive going forward so I'm excited to see how it pans out.

Leicester are very unfortunate to not be going in tied at the moment. They had a lot of chances on goal and they weren't able to capitalise. Tottenham are really fortunate that they got that goal early on due to a goalkeeper error.

Robert will be happy that they are the ones on top at 1-0, they are dominating possession but I don't think they are being purposeful enough with it and effective.

Not long to go until play resumes at Brisbane Road.

Crystal Palace manager Laura Kaminski on facing Arsenal: "It's definitely a challenge. We've shown some progression in the first half of the season in terms of playing big sides. We know their strengths and they offer a lot of threats, but it's a game we approach and try to get something out of like any other game."

On how the squad feels after the break: "The break came at a good time for us. The players were given ample time off to make sure they were refreshed and recharged, and they've come back with a great mindset."

On the confidence taken from Tuesday's 6-1 win over Sheffield United: "The win shows we can do it in front of goal. There was variety in the scorers on the day and goals from all sorts of positions, which we're pleased with. It gives us a lot of confidence but when we come back into the building the day after a game, we have to make sure our feet are on the ground. We had to work hard for that result but the fixtures move on and this is a different type of game."

Renee Slegers is targeting silverware after being named as Arsenal's permanent head coach.

The 35-year-old took interim charge in October following Jonas Eidevall's resignation, winning 10 and drawing one of her 11 matches at the helm.

Slegers has signed a one-and-a-half-year contract until the end of the 2025-26 season.

"Until the end of May, there's four competitions we're active in and we want to do our best and ultimately win trophies," Slegers said.

"We want to do it the Arsenal way. Something that we want to do, that we get enjoyment from, that we feel like we're developing and progressing, and a beautiful product to deliver to the outside world."

It's a busy day in the Women's Super League today, and we've got another game coming up at 14:00 GMT as Renee Slegers takes charge of her first game since becoming Arsenal manager on a permanent basis, facing Crystal Palace.

I think [Janice Cayman needs to] just put her miss to bed, you have them opportunities that you miss but it's about how you come out for the second half and there's still 45 minutes to get back into this game.

Spurs lead at the break thanks to Janina Leitzig's own-goal.

If only Janice Cayman had put away the excellent chance she had to equalise. Leicester have shown the most promise.

The relationship you can see between Takarada and Momiki - it's just having that relationship to say "listen, if I come short, someone still has to stretch the pitch" and playing more as a two rather than as individuals.

CJ Bott is booked, it looks like it's for how she reacted to the referee blowing the whistle after she fouled Hayley Raso.

Just before that, there for a good chance for Leicester. Missy Goodwin got into the box but couldn't get enough behind the ball and Ashleigh Neville was able to clear.

We finally have the first shot on target of the game!

Ruby Mace has an effort from a long way out and it's comfortably saved by Lize Kop.

Nice idea. Nelly Las is picked out on the edge of the Tottenham box and takes a couple of touches before firing towards goal, but her effort is blocked.

You can see what Leicester are trying to do, they're trying to set the trap and then getting the ball on the turnover and they're winning the ball higher up so they'll be in a better position going forward.

Close again! Nelly Las dribbles inside the spurs box, it's passed via another player to Janice Cayman but it's knocked from her feet by Molly Bartrip before she can get a shot off.

Then the offside flag goes up, so it wouldn't have mattered anyway.
