    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Luca Lochosvili hits the floor in the penalty area and Georgia want a penalty, but referee Sandro Scharer is not interested.

But VAR is having a look.

It is a fantastic strike from Hakan Calhanoglu, took it on his left foot from outside the area. The goalkeeper has made a couple of good saves at the start of the half but he couldn't keep that out. No less than Turkey deserve.

  3. Czech Republic have to go for itpublished at 21:12 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-1 Turkey

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Volksparkstadion

The Turkey fans are going wild after they make the breakthrough, having been rewarded for an excellent start to this half.

The Czech Republic players collapsed to the pitch when that goal went in. They had slowed the game down in the first half after being reduced to 10 men, but they have to go for it now.

  4. Postpublished at 21:12 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-1 Turkey

Czech keeper Jindrich Stanek needs treatment. I did wonder why he stuck a leg out to try to save that shot. Seems he was injured, maybe in making his save a minute earlier.

Turkey lead thanks to their captain Hakan Calhanoglu.

Moments after Czech keeper Jindrich Stanek makes a good save, Calhanoglu pops up to drill the ball past him into the bottom corner from an angle.

This goal gives Turkey some leeway and means the Czechs need to score twice now.

  6. 'Kvaratskhelia didn't connect with it'published at 21:10 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Ally McCoist
    Former Scotland striker on ITV

When Georgia do get possession they have been OK, they have been comfortable on the ball and they don't mind it.

Too much pace on the ball and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia just needed to direct it goalwards.

It was a side-foot job and he didn't connect with it.

  7. Postpublished at 21:10 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Czech striker Adam Hlozek shoots from outside the box. It takes a big deflection and is straight at the keeper.

  8. Postpublished at 21:09 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

A chance for Georgia. The ball is pulled backwards from the deadball line and it falls to the man the Georgian fans would want, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but he doesn't get a clean connection, rather scuffs it and it is easily dealt with by Diogo Costa.

  9. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:08 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Another yellow card, this time for Turkey's Ismail Yuksek.

  10. 'Portugal have a noticeable edge to them'published at 21:08 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

The Georgians are hanging on by a thread just now. The Portuguese have a noticeable edge to them at the start of this second half, pushing hard, pushing very, very high up the pitch, playing the ball very quickly.

  11. Postpublished at 21:07 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Almost a goal for Cristiano Ronaldo from Ruben Neves' corner from the left. Ronaldo, on the six-yard line and on the turn, strikes goalwards but the ball bounces up off Lasha Dvali and over the bar.

Ronaldo, on the ground, slaps the turf with both hands in frustration.

It's going to be a long half for Georgia fans.

  12. Postpublished at 21:07 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Turkey teenager Kenan Yildiz snatches at a shot from outside the box and it's off target.

  13. Postpublished at 21:05 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Turkey have a chance within 30 seconds of the restart. Baris Alper Yilmaz's header from a tight angle is saved, just about, by Jindrich Stanek. A bit of spillage from the Czech keeper but it doesn't go in.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:04 26 June

We are under way in the second halves. Will Georgia and Turkey see the job through?

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:04 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Turkey bring on Kaan Ayhan, a former Germany youth international, for the booked Salih Ozcan at the break.

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:03 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

A change for Portugal as ex-Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves, now with Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, replaces Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha.

  17. Postpublished at 20:59 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Gary Neville
    Former England defender on ITV

Georgia will create history if they hang on in this second half.

  18. 'Could be in for a very slow second half.'published at 20:58 26 June

    HT: Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Turkey were dominant in possession for the majority of the half but the Czechs nearly pulled off the ultimate smash and grab at the end with the chance from David Jurasek. Turkey don't have to win this game so we could be in for a very slow game in the second half. Czechia are going to rely on set pieces and Vladimir Coufal's long throw to get them what they need.

    Cristiano RonaldoImage source, Getty Images

Dr. Know: Will we see Ronaldo come out for the second half a bit calmer? I don't think his judgement is too clear and his emotions have taken control.

Mark: The sporting talent Ronaldo has is undeniable, but he is no role model, his attitude and behaviour is shameful and childlike, that is why whatever he achieves in terms of pure numbers of goals in his career he will never be considered the greatest, he is miles away. He needs to show some humility but seems to have none.

  20. Postpublished at 20:57 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Portugal have failed to win any of their seven previous matches at the Euros when trailing at half time (drawn two, lost five).
