  1. 'Kvaratskhelia is a star'published at 20:56 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

When Kvicha Kvaratskhelia gets on the ball he is one of those that you think to yourself, 'I hope he gets it again soon'.

How many players are there like that nowadays, those that make you that excited, those that are that level of talented? He is a star. He has shown it at Napoli and now for his national team. Put him in a side where he gets the ball to his feet and space to run into and he is magical.

  2. 'Georgia look a threat on the counter'published at 20:55 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Ange Postecoglou
    Tottenham manager on ITV

    Brilliant start for Georgia.

Georges Mikautadze's ball is unbelievable and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia doesn’t break his stride - one touch, and a super finish.

Georgia look a threat on the counter.

  3. 'Stop doing it and just get on with the game'published at 20:55 26 June

The referee is not falling for any of the Portuguese falling over. A lot of modern players try to initiate the contact with an opponent and fall over the leg. That is an easy one to spot and he has booked a few players for doing it now. Stop doing it and just get on with the game.

  4. Georgia lead at the breakpublished at 20:54 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Portugal, who have already qualified for the round of 16 and made eight changes for this game, trail to Georgia - who need to win to progress - at half-time.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stunned Roberto Martinez's side early on and, as it stands, Georgia will play Spain in the knockouts.

Given the current scorelines in Group F, England will play Slovakia in the round of 16.

Czech Republic will be eliminated, while Turkey will qualify in second position.

  5. Turkey fans will want the comfort of a goalpublished at 20:53 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Volksparkstadion

I said Turkey fans were relaxed around Hamburg before kick-off as they looked very likely to go through, but I'd imagine they will be getting a bit nervous now.

Yes, they dominated possession but didn't manage a shot on target in that half, while Czech Republic had a very decent one just before the break.

As things stand Turkey are through but if they concede and the Georgia-Portugal match remains the same, then they are out.

    Alistair Bruce-Ball
Commentator on BBC Radio 5 Live in Gelsenkirchen

Georgia have a plan, and it's working.

  7. 'Brilliantly balanced so far'published at 20:52 26 June

    HT: Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a brilliantly balanced game it has been so far. Portugal have had the most of the ball, created a few chances but not much clear cut. But Georgia have that five at the back with the three midfielders in front who are working their socks off to shut off the spaces. The problem for Portugal is that the Georgians look pretty tasty on the counter attack, a joy to watch.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Georgia hold a surprise lead thanks to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's goal inside two minutes after an error from Antonio Silva.

Portugal have been the better team by far since then, but not been able to find an equaliser.

If it stays like this, Georgia will reach the last 16 and England will have a knockout tie against Slovakia to look forward to.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

As things stand Turkey are through and the Czech Republic are out.

  10. Postpublished at 20:48 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Arda Guler has been lively and the Turkish youngster flashes a shot over from distance.

  11. Postpublished at 20:48 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

Pedro Neto swings in a corner from the right and it nearly catches out Georgia, only for goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili, on his knees, to punch the ball away from almost on the goalline.

  12. 'Referee not taking any nonsense'published at 20:46 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

    Pat Nevin
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It is intriguing from the referee. He is looking at some of the histrionic moments from the Portuguese players and he has had enough. He is not having any of it whatsoever, not taking any nonsense. It looks like he has fallen out with Cristiano Ronaldo.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:46 26 June

    Georgia 1-0 Portugal

After some delightful skill from Joao Felix, Portugal create another chance, Joao Palhinha runs on to it and curls it just wide.

Wolves striker Pedro Neto then gets booked for diving, with Cristiano Ronaldo again agitated by the decision, although the referee looked to have got it spot on.

Ronaldo, on a booking, needs to be careful or he's going to talk himself into an early bath.

  14. INJURY TIMEpublished at 20:45 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

    Three minutes added on.

  15. Postpublished at 20:45 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Big chance for the Czechs here as David Jurasek bursts into the box and forces a save from Mert Gunok from a tight angle.

  16. Postpublished at 20:43 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Turkey captain Hakan Calhanoglu drives a shot over the bar from outside the box. They haven't had an effort on target yet - but a goalless draw is OK for them.

  17. 'Very, very stop start game'published at 20:42 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

The Czech team are making it bitty, scrappy. They have been dogged and hard to break down. Turkey need to get hold of the ball and find some rhythm in their play, but they are struggling to do so at the minute. It has been a very, very stop start game.

  18. Postpublished at 20:42 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

It appears Czech Republic striker Patrik Schick will miss the last 16 if his side manage to win this game.

He was booked against Portugal in the opening game and two yellow cards means a one-game ban.

Such a ridiculous situation to get himself in from the bench.

Oli: Yes Ronaldo was having his shirt pulled. But he wasn't pulled to the ground. He went to ground looking for the penalty. Big difference. Not a pen for me.

Rob: To those who criticise Ronaldo, consider this: there are players at this tournament who are young enough to be his children. Yet he is still capable of playing at this level, despite his age.

  20. Postpublished at 20:39 26 June

    Czech Republic 0-0 Turkey

Juventus teenager Kenan Yildiz is a bit fortunate not to be sent off! The Turkish player catches Vladimir Coufal in the head with an elbow within a minute of getting a yellow card.

It wasn't a straight red offence but you have seen players booked for that.
