Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner on his side's recent performances, which have include back-to-back wins against Liverpool, West Ham and Newcastle: "Of course we hoped that it would happen. Now, the performances are really good, but it's the same, it's not [certain] that it happens again in the future, so you always have to deserve it, you always have to work on it.

"This is what I mentioned before, the players give us the confidence because they are listening. Every day we were sitting here and having a meeting and showing them videos and nobody was sleeping, so that gives us good feedback!

"This is the basic for a good relationship and for success. This we could feel from the first day, that they are good characters. This I’ve mentioned very often and I wouldn't do if I don't feel it. So the basement is built, but it's just the basement.

"Now we have 39 points and I think it shouldn't be our target to say ‘39 points, oh well done, staying in the Premier League’ because then I would say 'come on guys, go wherever you want and take vacations' – but no.

"We want to improve, we want to win games, and we have the next chance tomorrow at Fulham."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola on Dominic Solanke, who has scored 20 goals for the Cherries this season: "For me as a manager, he is worth a lot of money. The more expensive we put him, the better for the manager. I understand the club, I think we will try to keep him. It is what we want. We don't want anyone to come with the money but we know how the market works, but I will not be the one to put on the price. If I was to, it will be very easy for me to put it very, very expensive, but we will see. He has scored a lot of goals, he played very well, probably there will be offers for him, yes."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner on aiming for a fourth consecutive win: "I'm very confident because the performances, and what the players are doing and what they show in training in these small, short sessions, give me confidence.

"But it would be the biggest mistake that we can make to say ‘OK, we won at Liverpool, who were in second position at that time; we won against eighth-placed West Ham and we won against the sixth [Newcastle], so that automatically means you win against the, I don't know, 13th [Fulham]?

"This would be our biggest mistake. We never talk about the position of the opponent, we just talk about what we want to do on the pitch, what we have to do so that we are able to win the game."

Bournemouth

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola on his side's run of form, sitting 10th on 45 points from their 34 games, after waiting until 28 October for their first win of the campaign: "We cannot discount the first nine,10 games and I do feel we have improved a lot since the first game. But, we cannot recover those points we have missed.

"At the moment we are 10th, we want to finish strong. We have four games left which are really difficult to finish the season and I hope we improved from the games we played against these teams in the first phase."

The Cherries have home games against Brighton and Brentford remaining, as well as matches at Arsenal and Chelsea.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner on team news: "Eberechi Eze is questionable for tomorrow – he has a problem with his knee. Everyone else is fit - nobody new is back but just this one [new issue]. It was a match injury, we didn’t really train for two days now, we were just doing recovery. He was knocked down many times in the [Newcastle] game so we will see."

On Michael Olise: " He would have been fit to start before the Newcastle game, but we spoke and then we decided together that it makes sense to give him fewer minutes against Newcastle and have him fit against Fulham."

Chelsea boss Emma Hayes has been talking before the Saturday's second leg against Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.

"They are the best team in the world," said Hayes on Barcelona. "They know how to be in this position. Barcelona can hurt you in so many different ways that for us, as a team, we have to be so mindful that you cannot switch off for one single second.

"We know we have to be perfect to be able to progress."

On capitalising on the interest generated by Chelsea's run to the semi-finals of the Women's Champions League, Hayes added: "The litmus test of all of this is the first game at Stamford Bridge next season - making sure that the communications team has the right strategy in place to grow the 35,000 attendance tomorrow into 35,000 in the first game of the next season. But, for me, this is one more step in the right direction of growing the women's game."

Luton Town

Luton manager Rob Edwards on the relegation battle: "The stakes are high already, we all know what it means and it's really important to everyone that's in this at the moment, a number of clubs that are still fighting to try and avoid it and be in the league next season, it's so important.

"Everyone wants to try and stoke the fire I think. We've got a title race on at one end and obviously there's a relegation battle we're involved in. It's exciting, It's good that we're in the fight and we've got a chance to get out of it, but really, all I am concerned about right now is our performance tomorrow."

There was only going to be one thing which dominated the Nottingham Forest news conference on Friday afternoon.

Their X statement, calling into question Stuart Attwell's integrity, following Sunday's 2-0 defeat at Everton, has understandably hogged the headlines - even with the club's appeal for their four-point punishment for breaching profit sustainability rules being held on Wednesday.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo remained combative and defended the club's stance, even if he acknowledged Attwell does not deserve any personal abuse.

Forest have their backs against the wall in the Premier League, sitting a point above the relegation zone ahead of Sunday's visit of Manchester City, and are now fighting fires of their own making off the pitch.

Nuno said their controversial statement - seen by 44 million people - was a symptom and a reaction of what they viewed as wrong decisions, but it is yet another distraction in Forest's survival fight.

It was avoidable and will also have lost a lot of sympathy from the neutrals with their public stance.

Luton Town

More from Luton manager Rob Edwards on the threat of relegation, with the Hatters one point from safety with four games remaining: "I completely understand why people get frustrated and concerned, we're concerned, we've been frustrated with certain things but in the end we've all got to try and control what we can and that's our own football teams, our own clubs and what we put out there to the world.

"There's so much scrutiny that goes around with everything that is said. Everything I'll be saying right now will be as well, so we have to try and be careful with that."

Luton Town

Luton manager Rob Edwards on Nottingham Forest's post-match statement: "I don't think anyone can question the integrity of our officials. I don't know who supports who. Obviously, we've been brought into it. I can't comment any further.

"I don't want to be drawn on it too much, I understand why we are, we're in the mix, we were brought into it. I don't want to be questioning any of the officials' integrity. They've got a difficult job enough. Mistakes can happen and people can be aggrieved. I think we can stick to that."

Fulham

A final word from Fulham boss Marco Silva on assuring Premier League stability: "It is a massive change for this football club. We must do our best to keep improving - we cannot stand still. Off the pitch, the togetherness and quality is going in the right direction."

A recent legal ruling in the United States seems to have paved the way for domestic matches to be played overseas.

Fifa has been totally opposed but it appears they would now have to accept it.

La Liga president Javier Tebas has already said they plan to hold official matches in the United States.

The Premier League spoke about it 20 years ago when the "39th game" idea was mooted by Masters' predecessor Richard Scudamore.

It doesn't look likely to happen any time soon.

"The door looks ajar for matches abroad," said Masters. "But it is not part of our current plans."

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva on facing Oliver Glasner's Crystal Palace, who have secured their Premier League status for another season following three consecutive victories: "When you change your manager, you get a reaction.

"I have huge respect for [previous manager] Roy [Hodgson] and everything he has done for the football club.

“The job [Glasner] is doing is strong. His impact for the club is clear to see with the way they play.

"Young players like [Eberechi] Eze and Michael [Olise] - when they are at their top level they can compete against any team.

"It’s going to be a really good challenge for us."

Nottingham Forest

During his news conference Nuno Espirito Santo also said Forest do not want Stuart Attwell to receive any abuse because of their statement, which singled him out.

Minutes after their defeat at Everton last week the club posted on their official X account they had warned referees body, the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), Attwell - who was on VAR duty - was allegedly a fan of relegation rivals Luton.

He said: “We don’t want things to go much further and it becomes personal or abusive to the referees. Try to understand us and put yourself in our skin. We don’t want things to go much further, we want to keep things on the game and on the issues we can control.

“But it’s so many things. It’s not just the recent games. It goes on and on and on and on. That’s why we feel so much anger."

West Ham United

A final word from West Ham manager David Moyes on Saturday's opponents Liverpool: "I find it difficult to accept that Liverpool are out of the title race. They had a bad result but other teams have got to play big games. I think they are right in there. They haven’t surprised me because they are a football club always challenging for things.”

Manchester United

A final word from Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag on whether, in the remaining games, some of his side are playing for their futures at the club: "We are playing for points. We are playing for the best position in the league, and we are playing to win silverware. So the best team will play."

Fulham

Fulham boss Marco Silva on Willian: “He should be [involved this weekend]. If you have him, you are stronger. The way he is training, he is always ready to improve. He’s a really important piece of our football club."
