Tottenham need to hold steady until half-time, get into the changing room and really think about how they're going to come out in the second-half and get better control of the game.

Another chance for Alessia Russo, another save for Lize Kop. Russo nips in to stab a Steph Catley cross goalwards but the goalkeeper tips the effort wide.

Kop spills the resulting corner but is fortunate to see the ball roll back to her. Tottenham are living dangerously.

    Lindsay Johnson

Spurs are trying hard to be compact and make it difficult for Arsenal to play through. But they need to get the ball to their forwards.

Jessica Naz, Bethany England and Hayley Raso have got the experience and can be that outlet, but at the moment, they just can't do it.

It's important when Tottenham get the ball back they try and retain it.

As they're getting deeper and deeper into their defensive half that first two or three passes is vital. We've seen them give the ball away and they'll never be able to gain territory if they don't retain the ball.

  9. 'Spurs need to look at their leaky defence'published at 12:53 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

    Arsenal 1-0 Tottenham

    Lindsay Johnson
Former England defender on BBC Two

Tottenham have conceded a lot of goals - only bottom side Crystal Palace have conceded more in the WSL this season.

Being sixth and still conceding the second-highest goals in the league, it's something they need to look at. They need to think what they are doing to stop those goals from going in.

  10. Postpublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

Arsenal again go close, but again Lize Kop denies Alessia Russo after the striker turned her marker Clare Hunt and raced towards the six yard box.

    All square at the break.

Bottom-of-the-table Crystal Palace responded excellently to going behind after a poor clearance from goalkeeper Milla-Maj Majasaari handed the hosts an easy chance to take the lead.

It actually looks like an own goal from Clare Hunt on the replays being shown around the stadium. Alessia Russo seemed to flick it against Hunt and that is what sent it into the corner.

The England forward enjoyed it all the same though and Arsenal fans are now chanting "shoot" on sight as you can feel the pressure building.

    Man Utd 1-1 Crystal Palace

Elisabeth Terland is around the goalkeeper, she looks to the referee in search of a foul as she goes down in a tussle with Katrine Veje.

Terland isn't happy, but it looks like it was good defending from Veje.

Crucial defending after poor judgment from Milla-Maj Majasaari to run so far off her line.

  17. INJURY TIMEpublished at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time 16 February

Bright idea, but it doesn't work. Grace Clinton picks up a ball at the back post and attempts to keep the move alive with some good footwork, knocking the ball up in the air as she controls it, but Elisabeth Terland can't reach it in the air when she dinks it over.
