The hosts have been dominant so far, but Palace have had a few bright moments going forwards.

On Friday Arsenal boss Renee Slegers said she had no fresh injury concerns, but today defender Lotte Wubben-Moy is not in the matchday squad.

"She picked up a minor muscle injury so we are going to scan her tomorrow (Monday)," Slegers said ahead of kick-off.

Leah Williamson and Steph Catley start at centre-back for Arsenal.

So nearly 2-0!

Leah Galton bursts down the left and whips a low delivery towards the six-yard area.

Elisabeth Terland gets onto it and prods a first-time effort towards goal, but she's denied by the far post.

Elisabeth Terland comes close again. United break through the middle, she has the ball on the edge of the box, but she can't get enough power on her strike as a tackle comes in from behind.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Robert Vilahamn speaking to BBC Sport ahead of the game: "We need to have a really strong defence today. We need to make sure we are very disciplined. We will get a few chances but we need to be sure that we are very clinical with that. We need to do it together today.

"We needed the [rest]. We had a few changes in the personnel as well. We needed a few training sessions, actually, to have a good competition as well. The players have done great in training and that is why it was really hard to pick a starting 11 today because the bench is really strong as well. It is good to have the whole squad today."

That's better. Ella Toone, Grace Clinton and Hinata Miyazawa play a nice passing move, with Miyazawa then breaking into the right-hand side of the box.

She loops a delivery into the middle but Clinton and Elisabeth Terland get mixed up and can't trouble the visitors' goalkeeper.

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Renee Slegers speaking to BBC Sport, on how her side are going to make it 'uncomfortable' for Tottenham: "With the atmosphere and the energy that we create together with the fans at the Emirates and also with a lot of things that we did in the away game like the counter pressure. That is what we are going after today as well."

On Chloe Kelly's chances of making her second debut from the bench: "She has been a really good addition to the squad. She's got fire inside her and she has been showing that in the training. Hopefully, you will see some of that on the pitch today.

"She has integrated easily and smoothly with the rest of the group. She already knew a lot of girls because of her spell with Arsenal before and also from the England squad. We have seen the quality that she can bring in the final third during training. I am also very impressed with her willingness to work hard in training."

Crystal Palace are sitting deep and the hosts haven't been able to play through them yet.

Jayde Riviere attempts another cross to try and beat the Palace defence, but it's caught by the goalkeeper before anyone reaches it.

A decent moment for Crystal Palace soon after, though. Lily Woodham charges down the left and whips a low ball towards the near post.

It's dealt with by the Manchester United defence.

As was probably expected, United have started with intent. They're pressing Crystal Palace high up the pitch.

A cross comes towards the six-yard box but Milla-Maj Majasaari gets to it before Elisabeth Terland.

The hosts get the ball rolling.

Not long left to go until our first game of the day gets under way.

• Manchester United have won each of their 11 WSL games against newly promoted opposition, the only team to hold a 100%-win record in the competition against such teams.
• Crystal Palace have lost each of their past three games against Manchester United in all competitions by an aggregate score of 13-0, losing 7-0 in the Championship the last time they travelled to face the Red Devils in April 2019.
• Manchester United have won each of their past five WSL games, keeping a clean sheet in four of those; since the beginning of last season the Red Devils have seen a greater proportion of their total wins come to nil than any other ever-present side (79% - 15/19).
• Crystal Palace have won just one of their 13 games in the Women’s Super League (D3 L9), though five of their six points in the competition have come away from home, drawing 1-1 at Brighton last time out.
• Manchester United remain unbeaten at home in the WSL this season, winning four of six games (D2), and the Red Devils could avoid defeat in their opening seven games of a top-flight campaign for the first time.

Chloe Kelly has been ineligible to play in Arsenal's last two matches since joining on loan from Manchester City.

She was cup-tied for their Women's League Cup semi-final defeat and could not face her parent club in the WSL before that.

But now she is available and there are plenty of Arsenal fans gathering at Emirates Stadium excited to see her in a red shirt yet again.

Kelly returns to the club where she spent her academy days and it is 2,815 days since her last appearance for Arsenal.

She scored that day against Bristol City and will be hoping to get off the mark brightly today having not featured in the WSL for two months.
