The game improved as it went on and is finely poised at the break.

Dundee's equaliser came at a time when Killie were threatening to take a bit of a stranglehold on the game.

But the home side will definitely get a lift from going in at the interval all square.

Seven goals in the opening 45 minutes.

    Keep it up, lads.

  4. HALF-TIME Dundee 1-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 13:23 British Summer Time 18 May

It took this game a while to kick into life, but once the players, erm, adjusted to the heat, it sparked into life.

The first shot of the game resulted in the first goal, with Gary Mackay-Steven pouncing on a loose ball to score on his first Kilmarnock start.

They looked more likely to get a second and Fraser Murray had a header cleared away, but Dundee went up the other end and scored on the counter.

Scott Tiffoney beat the offside trap to set up a free Luke McCowan who fired in clinically.

  5. HALF-TIME Hearts 1-0 Rangerspublished at 13:21 British Summer Time 18 May

The story of the half is summed up by two strikers.

Cyriel Dessers has had four or five good chances for Rangers, including one sitter, and not scored.

Lawrence Shankland has had two opportunities, and scored. He goes through and impudently dinks Jack Butland.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:19 British Summer Time 18 May

    Hearts 1-0 Rangers

Cyriel Dessers does well to run off Kye Rowles and persevere to get on the ball in the box.

He's wide left of the target and gets a clean strike away, but Zander Clark makes a good save.

This game could end up anything!

  7. HALF-TIME Celtic 2-2 St Mirrenpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 18 May

An enthralling first half ends with Luis Palma's dangerous corner headed out from under his own crossbar by Richard Taylor.

Mark O'Hara's double, his second a penalty, and Matt O'Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi strikes have made this anything but an end of season affair.

  8. CLOSE!published at 13:17 British Summer Time 18 May

    Hearts 1-0 Rangers

Yutaro Oda, one of the Hearts players who has got better as the season has gone on, cuts inside and shoots just over.

It's a fun game in the sun, this one!

  9. CLOSE!published at 13:16 British Summer Time 18 May

    Hearts 1-0 Rangers

Todd Cantwell puts the ball right across the face of goal and a diving Cyriel Dessers somehow puts it over the bar.

    Another sitter.

Luckily for him, Cantwell turned out to be offside. Still, he's got to bury that.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:14 British Summer Time 18 May

    Hearts 1-0 Rangers

Kenneth Vargas is played in behind a Rangers defence who get their line wrong again.

He drives inside and then fires a shot off the outside of the post.

In fairness, a replay shows he may have been just offside. But Rangers are being cut open a bit too easily.

  11. goal

GOAL! Dundee 1-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 13:13 British Summer Time 18 May

    Luke McCowan

Dundee have the ball in the back of the net, but the flag is up straight away.

Scott Tiffoney looked to beat the offside trap, gets in behind, and squares to McCowan who fires home from close range.

There's a VAR check - and after an age, it's given!

    Dundee goal
  12. CLOSE!published at 13:10 British Summer Time 18 May

    Celtic 2-2 St Mirren

Luis Palma heads wide as Celtic threaten to take the lead for the first time.

He really should have hit the target there.

  13. Postpublished at 13:10 British Summer Time 18 May

    Dundee 0-1 Kilmarnock

Bit of a mad stat from Dens Park.

That was Gary Mackay-Steven's first Premiership goal since November 2021!

  14. goal

GOAL! Celtic 2-2 St Mirrenpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 18 May

    Kyogo Furuhashi

We're being treated to an absolute belter at Celtic Park.

A classic combination as Reo Hatate crosses from the right for Kyogo Furuhashi to finish at the near post and draw Celtic level.

Kyogo had started the move by finding Hatate and the scorer ran and ran and ran to apply the finish.

    Celtic goal
  15. CLOSE!published at 13:07 British Summer Time 18 May

    Dundee 0-1 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock go close and it's Gary Mackay-Steven again.

This time he picks it up on the right and curls on his left but his shot is inches over.

That's six goals in 17 games against Dundee. He likes playing against them.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:06 British Summer Time 18 May

    Celtic 1-2 St Mirren

Mark O'Hara heads against the post at a St Mirren corner.

It could've been a hat-trick you might say, but the referee had blown for an infringement in any event.

  17. goal

GOAL! Hearts 1-0 Rangerspublished at 13:04 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lawrence Shankland

    Goal number 31.

The Rangers backline are all at sea as Lawrence Shankland is slipped right in behind and through on goal.

Jack Butland comes out, but the Hearts captain just dinks it over him and into the net.

    Glorious finish.

    Hearts goal
  18. Postpublished at 13:03 British Summer Time 18 May

    Hearts 0-0 Rangers

    Chance for Hearts.

A long throw is flicked to Lawrence Shankland by Kye Rowles.

The Hearts captain takes it first time on the volley, but hooks it over.

  19. ouch!

Ouch!published at 13:02 British Summer Time 18 May

    Celtic 1-2 St Mirren

A stoppage at Celtic Park as Keanu Baccus and Stephen Welsh rise for a high ball and come into collision.

St Mirren's Baccus seems to have come off worst and the visitors' medical team tend to him. He looks okay to continue.

  20. Don't forget Murray...published at 13:02 British Summer Time 18 May

    Dundee 0-1 Kilmarnock

    Tyrone Smith
BBC Sport Scotland at Dens Park

Gary Mackay-Steven will get the headlines for the goal, but Fraser Murray deserves a lot of praise too for his powerful play down the left in the build-up to the goal.

Hopefully now we have finally got a game on our hands.
