The story of the half is summed up by two strikers.

Cyriel Dessers has had four or five good chances for Rangers, including one sitter, and not scored.

Lawrence Shankland has had two opportunities, and scored. He goes through and impudently dinks Jack Butland.

Cyriel Dessers does well to run off Kye Rowles and persevere to get on the ball in the box.

He's wide left of the target and gets a clean strike away, but Zander Clark makes a good save.

This game could end up anything!

An enthralling first half ends with Luis Palma's dangerous corner headed out from under his own crossbar by Richard Taylor.

That's six goals in 17 games against Dundee. He likes playing against them.

Mark O'Hara heads against the post at a St Mirren corner.

It could've been a hat-trick you might say, but the referee had blown for an infringement in any event.

A long throw is flicked to Lawrence Shankland by Kye Rowles.

The Hearts captain takes it first time on the volley, but hooks it over.

Celtic 1-2 St Mirren

A stoppage at Celtic Park as Keanu Baccus and Stephen Welsh rise for a high ball and come into collision.

St Mirren's Baccus seems to have come off worst and the visitors' medical team tend to him. He looks okay to continue.

Gary Mackay-Steven will get the headlines for the goal, but Fraser Murray deserves a lot of praise too for his powerful play down the left in the build-up to the goal.
