Former Cardiff City striker Robert Earnshaw speaking on Sky Sports:

"I thought Rubin Colwill was very bright today, his pressing was amazing, he was Cardiff's main man today, he made things happen.

"Moments change games and I feel Cardiff switching their formation swung the game back into Bristol's favour."

We have seen two cracking goals today, albeit different types.

Ollie Tanner's opener - with his weaker right foot - was all about individual quality.

Luke McNally's leveller was an unstoppable header on the back of a superb Joe Williams cross.

I don't think Omer Riza's failed in his audition to become Cardiff City manager - there were too many good points in the game from Cardiff.

I just felt he made the wrong call and at the wrong time and Cardiff were sat back for the last 20 minutes.

Overall, I'm pleased with the performance. It was so much better than what I saw at Hull last week.

Bristol City's run without a home league defeat now stands at 10 matches.

That is a solid base for any side, though Liam Manning may feel a little disappointed that back-to-back Ashton Gate games against Cardiff and Sheffield Wednesday have only brought his side two points.

I think Omer Riza will question himself, he switched to that back five way too early. They were in charge of the game up until that point.

That is just a second away point of the season for Cardiff City, whose run without a win on the road stretches to seven matches.

They might have ended that sequence had Ollie Tanner and Rubin Colwill taken big chances after Tanner's brilliant goal.

But the home side regained momentum after some defensive changes from Omer Riza.

Will the interim boss regret those substitutions, and the switch to three at the back?

It was a great game to watch. There were a lot more positives than negatives to take for Cardiff City.

I feel Cardiff will be disappointed with a point - I thought the first 20 minutes of the second half they were outstanding.

Bristol City are now four games unbeaten, but it's a third draw of the week for Liam Manning's team.

They climb to 16th in the table, while Cardiff City remain bottom of the pile despite drawing level on five points with 23rd-place Portsmouth.

That's the last act of the game.

It's a point apiece and that is probably about right at the end of an entertaining second half.

Decent ball into the Cardiff box from Ross McCrorie, but Joel Bagan heads away.

Then McCrorie wins a free-kick on the edge of the box. This is nervy for Cardiff.

Not much sign of a late winner as it stands.

Cardiff are making a concussion substitute with Dimitrios Goutas looking groggy.

That was the perfect delivery for someone in a blue shirt to throw themselves at the ball, that's a chance missed.

You get the feeling that Cardiff are hanging on since changing the shape and conceding the equaliser.

Bristol City are looking for that winner.
