It's fair to say that for the first 20-odd minutes, Carlisle were awful.

Stray passes - a lot of them, struggling to get up the field and deservedly behind.

They were not at all comfortable with their three at the back system, so Mark Hughes tweaked it to four, they immediately won a couple of corners and hey ho, they're now level.

And that goal has certainly lifted the mood around Brunton Park.

Sometimes there is nothing you can do.

You cannot take anything away from Birmingham the way they started the game.

That goal was befitting of the Premier League, or even above to be honest.

The home side get the first corner of the game and Joe Low has a header cannoned against the defender and the ball is cleared.
