Zach Mitchell... a bit of a curveball that one!
St Johnstone have signed defender Zach Mitchell on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old came through the Addicks' academy, and was out on loan at League Two side Colchester United last season.
On making the move to Perth, the youngster said, "I like to think I’m confident on the ball and like to step in from the back, but it is also about being sound defensively first.
"Hopefully I can marry the two of those together nicely."
St Johnstone fans, are you ready? Well, you better get ready if not.
Fifteen minutes, team.
Is a late surge coming?

After just 28 appearances for Hearts, Malachi Boateng has left the club.
His aim now? To try and help Argyle ease away from the bottom of the table.
Their next fixture is against arguably Europe's form side, Liverpool, in the FA Cup this Sunday.
Some start for Boateng...
Midfielder Malachi Boateng has swapped Hearts for Plymouth Argyle.
The 22-year-old only joined the Tynecastle club in the summer from Dundee, and after starting the season strongly, he has not started a league game since 22 December.
He joins the English Championship side on a three-and-a-half-year deal.
An incoming at Killie, an outgoing at Hearts...
Kilmarnock have signed Leicester City centre-back Tom Wilson-Brown on loan until the end of the season.
Derek McInnes had been tight-lipped recently on the prospect of adding to the Rugby Park ranks this window, but they've got another defender in on a short-term basis, joining Calvin Ramsay from Liverpool.
The 20-year-old has made eight appearances this season for Leicester City's Under-21 side.
The Ayrshire club had brought in defenders Jack Burroughs and Oliver Bainbridge on loan in the summer, but both have returned to their parent clubs in recent weeks.
In a statement announcing his arrival, the club say "Tom’s versatility and defensive strength will be a valuable addition to the team".

St Johnstone are still hopeful of more incomings...
Only takes a phone call for a deal to happen!
C'mon, Killie...
Kilmarnock fans, a signing appears imminent...
Zak Lovelace has left Rangers for Millwall on a permanent deal.
The 19-year-old initially joined the youth ranks at Ibrox from The Lions in 2022, but has only made a handful of first-team appearances.

Dundee have concluded their business in this window.
However, 20-year-old central defender Luke Graham will return to Falkirk on loan tomorrow, until the end of the season.
Graham was recalled by Dundee last month as cover but, will return to Falkirk to try and help the Bairns gain promotion from the Championship.

The deal for Malachi Boateng to Plymouth Argyle once concluded will be the final piece of business in this transfer window for Hearts.
Calling all Jambos, are you happy with the ins and outs in January?
Get clicking those thumbs, up for aye, down for no.

Hibernian are finished by way of new recruits in this window.
However, I am still expecting a couple heading out the door at Easter Road with both Harry McKirdy and Luke Amos moving on.
In fact, in the last few minutes, Amos' departure has been confirmed.
