  1. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 13:59 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Charlton 2-0 Wycombe

West Ham loanee Gideon Kodua is adamant he should have had a penalty kick for Wycombe after dribbling across the box and seemingly being tripped by Conor Coventry but referee Lee Swabey is unmoved.

The away fans are not happy with that.

Wycombe piling forward but Charlton always look dangerous on the break.

What a contrast to the first half this is...

  2. goal

GOAL: Bromley 1-0 Swindonpublished at 13:59 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Omar Sowunmi (69 minutes)

The central defender gets his fifth goal in 10 matches to break the deadlock!

A great cross into the box by Idris Odutayo reaches Sowunmi.

His downyard header looks to be kept out by the Swindon keeper Barden but the ball squirms over the line and in.

Barden should really be doing better there in truth

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:58 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Bromley 0-0 Swindon Town

Ollie Clarke, just soon after coming off, is the fourth Swindon Town player in the book following a late challenge on Jude Arthurs.

Meanwhile, Swindon gaffer Ian Holloway, who is fetching a delightful bit of headgear, responds to some taunts from the Bromley faifthul behind him.

    Rotherham 1-1 Stockport

The Stockport captain Fraser Horsfall has taken a nasty blow to an ankle.

    He's down and needs treatment...

  5. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Charlton 2-0 Wycombe

Daniel Udoh and Tyreeq Bakinson make way with Gideon Kodua and Josh Scowen coming on for the visitors as Matt Bloomfield rolls the dice with 25 minutes and change remaining.

  6. Postpublished at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Rotherham 1-1 Stockport

Zak Jules clears for Rotherham from in front of his goalkeeper.

It's beginning to feel like a matter of time before Stockport get back in front.

We've seen nothing from the home side up front in this second period.

  7. Postpublished at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Charlton 2-0 Wycombe

Been pretty smooth sailing for Wanderers boss Matt Bloomfield for the past four months, but he's looking pretty uncomfortable right now.

More changes afoot as the Chairboys seek to get back into this game with the hope of extending their 19-match unbeaten run.

They are no strangers to late drama, but this would surely top the lot...

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Bromley 0-0 Swindon

Little in goalmouth action so far in the second-half but a substitution for the hosts sees Congreve replaced by Olomola.

Ian Holloway responds for the visitors and Paul Glatzel and the booked Gavin Kilkenny are replaced by captain Ollie Clarke and Harry Smith.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:51 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Rotherham 1-1 Stockport

    A change for Rotherham.

Andre Green was left out of the starting line-up today but he's on now to replace Joseph Hungbo.

Kyle Wootton has the next chance for Stockport.

A ball over the top bounces into his path and he lobs the onrushing Dillon Phillips but it bounces wide.

Rotherham are preparing a change - it's needed because they're on the back foot.

  11. Postpublished at 13:49 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Charlton 2-0 Wycombe

Daniel Udoh's angled strike from the left of the box is charged down by Charlton defender Conor Coventry, but the Wycombe corner comes to nought.

Dan Harvie eventually sends in a long-range effort which is deflected towards Addicks keeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer to gather with ease.

Wanderers playing with plenty more intent now, but have given themselves a mountain to climb.

Play is interrupted as former Millwall man Alex Mitchell has a cut on his knee for the hosts and will need some treatment.

Stockport are piling on the pressure in this second period with Callum Connolly and Louie Barry both coming close.

Joseph Hungbo prevents another break for the visitors with a shirt tug - strangely hes not cautioned - seems lenient.

  13. 'Bromley are starting to take a hold of this game'published at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Bromley 0-0 Swindon

    Rhys Evans
Ex-Swindon Town goalkeeper on BBC Radio Wiltshire

Swindon aren't here to entertain, if they do then great but the aim is to get the points.

Bromley are just starting to take a bit of a hold in this game though.

  14. Postpublished at 13:46 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Charlton 2-0 Wycombe

Jack Grimmer fires in a low strike for the visitors which Ashley Maynard-Brewer does well to get down and hold at his near post again, with a couple of Wanderers players lurking in his goalmouth with intent.

  15. goal

GOAL: Carlisle United 2-0 Accrington Stanleypublished at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Luke Armstrong (54 minutes)

A catastrophic defensive error from Stanley gifts Carlisle their second!

A total mess at the back for Stanley- a ridiculously short back pass from Manchester United loanee Sonny Aljofree puts goalkeeper Billy Crellin in all sorts of problems.

His attempted clearance is charged down by Kadeem Harris and the ball ricochets straight to Luke Armstrong who manages to calmly find the net from 18 yards out.

Awful goal to give away from Stanley but delight for United!

  16. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:45 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Charlton 2-0 Wycombe

Wycombe have 14-goal Richard Kone and Fred Onyedinma in their locker, and they are coming on to try and change the game.

Kone got two on Boxing Day and will likely need to repeat the feat if Wanderers are to extend their unbeaten run.

Garath McCleary and Beryly Lubala make way.

  17. Postpublished at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Rotherham 1-1 Stockport

Should be 2-1 to Stockport and of all people it's Louie Barry who wastes the chance.

Zak Jules' hurried clearance falls at the feet of Barry just 10 yards out but his shot is straight at Dillon Phillips.

I think everyone expected the net to ripple.

  18. CLOSE!published at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Carlisle United 1-0 Accrington Stanley

Ben Woods' in-swinging cross is superbly headed away from his own goal from Jon Mellish and out for a corner.

In difficult conditions, that was well defended by the Carlisle wing-back.

  19. CHANCEpublished at 13:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Carlisle United 1-0 Accrington Stanley

Oh what a chance at the beginning of the second half for Carlisle to double their advantage.

Kadeem Harris manages to get clear of the Stanley defence and bearing down one-on-one on goal completely loses his composure and blazes over his effort into the Carlisle fans behind the goal.

Meanwhile, at the other end, Carlisle's Cameron Harper is booked for a late challenge on Tyler Walton and Accrington have a free-kick just outside the box on the right-hand side in a dangerous position.

Could this be the chance for Accrington.....

  20. goal

GOAL Charlton 2-0 Wycombepublished at 13:41 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2024

    Miles Leaburn (52 mins)

Miles Leaburn at the double with a sublime chip...

Charlton are in dreamland. Leaburn is played down the right channel, beating the offside trap and Franco Ravizzoli comes off his line to narrow the angle, only he's come too far, too quickly, and Leaburn is able to steady himself and dink over the keeper from just outside the box and loft the ball into the far corner on the bounce.

Three in three days and now four in League One for the man with the legendary surname around these parts. He looks full of confidence...

What do Wycombe have in their locker?
