    HT: Aston Villa 0-0 Chelsea

    Aston Villa

Aston Villa and Scotland defender Rachel Corsie speaking to BBC Sport at half time:

"It [injuries] doesn't get easier as you get older! I came back from knee injury and picked up a calf injury, trying to fight my way through that."

On match: "Game has been quite open. Opening 15 minutes I was thinking can we be competitive and win battles and try not to let Chelsea get momentum. The danger is not to be happy with that and to come out of the second half with a bit more intensity because they certainly will."

On new manager giving a lift: "As a player you always find a bit of extra intensity in training when there's a new manager. There's people who haven't played as many minutes as they would want to and you get that bounce. The weeks been intense and there's been longer sessions. So far it's been a positive week but it's a difficult match to have as your first match but also a good test against the champions.

"We want to be considered a top-six team. We have good players, first half of the season we didn't pick up momentum but we're more than capable to beat anyone on our day we just need to actually keep doing it."
