Tom Naylor's goal was his second of the season for the Spireites
Midfielder Tom Naylor netted a late equaliser to earn Chesterfield a League Two point at home to MK Dons.
Rushian Hepburn-Murphy had given the visitors a first-half lead but Naylor levelled with four minutes remaining to preserve his side's unbeaten home league record.
MK Dons went close early on when Callum Paterson put a near-post header narrowly wide after meeting Dan Crowley's cross from the right.
Chesterfield's Vontae Daley-Campbell put a fierce shot into the side-netting and visiting goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray did well to tip over Lewis Gordon's well-struck effort.
Hepburn-Murphy put the visitors ahead in the 25th minute, playing a one-two with Paterson before running into the area unchallenged and firing past Zach Hemming.
As Chesterfield searched for an equaliser, Naylor picked out Devan Tanton with a fine pass and the defender's chip from the right-hand side of the area went just over.
After Kyle McFadzean volleyed over, Chesterfield equalised when Liam Mandeville sent over a corner and Naylor found the net with a near-post header.
Spireites substitute Will Dickson had a great chance to win it late on, firing straight at MacGillivray after being put through on goal.
