    Birmingham 0-0 Cambridge Utd

The visitors release the pressure valve for a brief moment with a long punt forward from a free-kick in their own half, but the ball is drawn back to their goal like it's magnetised and Alex Cochrane's inswinging cross is put behind for another corner.

It's going to be a long night for the U's defence at this rate.

  2. Orient take 2-0 leadpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

Leyton Orient have doubled their lead over Mansfield and it's Randell Williams with the goal on his debut!

Williams bursts forward and fires a fine finish into the bottom corner.

A blistering start for the Os and it's an uphill battle for the visitors already.

Richie Wellens' side are heading within one point of the play-off spots as things stand.

It's been one-way traffic towards the Cambridge goal so far, but their clean sheet remains intact... for now.

However, the one disappointment for the home side will be the fact they have been unable to test U's keeper Nathan Bishop.

You feel it's only a matter of time before he is called into action, though.

  4. Postpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Walsall 0-0 Gillingham

Max Clark and Elliott Nevitt are right on the same wavelength from a free-kick just in the Walsall half.

Clark slides the ball down the line and it looks like Nevitt is going to have acres of space and oodles of times to shoot. But the striker is closed down before he can pull the trigger. Good thinking.

  5. Postpublished at 20:02 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Reading 0-0 Shrewsbury

Safe to say the pitch at Reading's Select Car Leasing Stadium isn't in the best of nick. The recent adverse weather clearly having an impact on the playing surface.

It doesn't prevent the Royals getting on the front foot from the off, though, as they knock it about nicely and try to put Shrewsbury under some early pressure.

  6. Postpublished at 20:01 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Cambridge Utd

Blues win a free-kick 25 yards out, giving former Everton youngster Kieran Dowell the chance of a left-footed crack at goal.

Clearly inspired by the Six Nations he bends it high and over the middle of the bar. Three points.

The Blues onslaught continues, however, and only a desperate scramble prevents Jay Stansfield turning in a low cross from the left byeline.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Reading 0-0 Shrewsbury

Off we go in this evening's only 20:00 GMT kick-off between Reading and Shrewsbury in League One.

  8. 'Birmingham are looking sharp'published at 19:58 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Cambridge Utd

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Good early signs from Birmingham - they are forcing turnovers off the ball, pressing strongly and smothering Cambridge. It has happened two or three times already. They are looking sharp.

  9. Postpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Cambridge Utd

Great work from U's defender Jubril Okedina, who times his last-ditch challenge on Jay Stansfield perfectly as the Blues man was about to pull the trigger after being slotted into the box by Keshi Anderson.

It's been ALL Birmingham in the opening dozen minutes or so.

  10. League Two updatepublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    #bbcefl

The first two goals of the night in League Two have come at Holker Street.

Scott Hogan had given MK Dons the lead in the eighth minute after rounding the goalkeeper but Kian Spence - on the back of a weekend brace - wonderfully kept a bouncing ball down to level for Barrow two minutes later.

  11. Two changes for Reading and Shrewsburypublished at 19:56 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Reading v Shrewsbury (20:00)

Reading boss Noel Hunt makes two changes from the side that drew 0-0 at Huddersfield on Saturday.

Kelvin Ehibhatiomhan and Amadou Mbengue come into the starting line-up.

Mamadi Camara drops to the bench, while centre-back Harlee Dean is not in the squad after coming off in the first half at the weekend.

Gareth Ainsworth also makes two changes to his Shrewsbury team following their 2-1 win at Rotherham.

Harrison Biggins and George Nurse start in place of Alex Gilliead, who is among the subs, and Aaron Pierre, who misses out altogether.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:54 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Walsall 0-0 Gillingham

David Okagbue goes into referee Thomas Parson's notepad for what can only be described as a rash kick to the onrushing Max Clark's shins. From the resulting free-kick, Tommy Simkin easily holds onto a tame header.

  13. League One latestpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

Leyton Orient have taken the lead inside seven minutes at home to Mansfield through Jordan Brown.

A corner from the left is flicked in at the near post by Brown as the Os look to continue their play-off charge.

Still goalless in Blackpool, Bristol and Crawley.

  14. Postpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Cambridge Utd

It's definitely different at St Andrew's tonight, compared to Saturday, but the names on the shirts are largely the same.

Tomoki Iwata, scorer of that goal 73 hours ago, picks up the ball and drives towards the edge of the U's box before curling a cross towards the back post, which earns his side a corner, though the hosts are unable to capitalise on it.

  15. Postpublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Walsall 0-0 Gillingham

While Walsall have had a bad run - a four-match winless run to be precise - the problem has been the away form, not the home. They haven't lost at the Bescot in the league since the start of October.

They have allowed the all-yellow Gills to see most of the ball so far, on a pitch which it is fair to say has seen better days. No chances of note yet.

  16. Postpublished at 19:50 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 0-0 Peterborough

Bright start from Posh. Another set-piece to the back post is nodded down by Sam Hughes but Ricky-Jade Jones air-kicks in the goalmouth, seeking his ninth goal of the league campaign.

Charlton have barely crossed the halfway line in the opening four minutes.

  17. Postpublished at 19:49 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 0-0 Peterborough

Early sight of goal for the visitors as the Addicks defence only half-clear a free-kick into the box but Stockport loanee Sam Hughes lashes high and wide from just outside the box to ironic cheers from the home faithful.

  18. Postpublished at 19:47 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Cambridge

    Steve Marshall
BBC Sport at St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park

I said before the game that there was a danger of tonight's game being a case of back to reality, or a classic 'After the Lord Mayor's Show', for Birmingham (other cliches are available) following Saturday's FA Cup meeting with Newcastle.

But boss Chris Davies has tried to ensure that doesn't become the case by naming what BBC Radio WM's Richard Wilford, sitting next to me, reckons is his strongest available side.

The fact club captain Krystian Bielik can only make the bench speaks volumes.

Cambridge have had to make a late change to their starting XI, with Kell Watts slotting into defence to replace Danny Andrew, who picked up an injury in the warm-up.
