    Dundee United v Aberdeen (19:45)

I know Dons fans are frustrated with results of late but this is a new Aberdeen team getting used to life in Scotland and playing in our Premiership, which is a tough one at the best of times. I don’t think we’re getting relegated this season. It’s clear there’s been a massive slump in performance but it was never going to be an overnight fix. I think Jimmy is still the best guy for the job and hopefully a win tonight will be the turn in fortunes we’re looking for.

Jimmy Thelin is under pressure from the fans, but he has support from the chief executive and chairman.

He's still got time to turn it around but I don't know how much time.

    Falkirk v Hibernian (19:45)

Tonight's meeting is Falkirk and Hibernian's first in the Scottish top flight since a 3-1 win for Hibs at the Falkirk Stadium in March 2010.

Sol Bamba, Derek Riordan and David Wotherspoon were among those in the Hibernian ranks, with Bamba and Riordan scoring. Scott Arfield, who is in Falkirk's squad tonight, started for the Bairns that day, which was during his first spell with the club.

The sides have faced one another in cup competitions, the Championship and the Premiership play-offs since then and there are usually goals in this fixture.

  20. 'Aberdeen performance needs to be better'published at 19:41 BST

    Dundee United v Aberdeen (19:45)

Aberdeen head coach Jimmy Thelin tells BBC Scotland: "We played on Saturday so we're freshening up the team a little.

"The spirit and the energy is high in the team and everyone is looking forward to this game because we want to show we're a good team after a tough start.

"We need to help each other better on the pitch and that's what we need to show today. There are not so many things to fix, we just need to add the basic fundamentals. Sometimes players run but we need to run together as a team.

"It's about collective effort and that's what we're working on today. We are still working with the right focus and we all want the same thing.

"It's going to be a high tempo game because they've changed their approach on how to attack the game.

"It's important to get the points today. You can't trust luck for the whole season so the performance needs to be better."
