Eight minutes to go. Arsenal want to win this one in normal time as Gabriel Martinelli crosses but Harry Maguire heads away.

You feel when Palace move the ball at pace and use the width of the pitch an opening will happen.

    Can they kill it off?

People moaning about not having VAR, on the evidence this season do you really think they'd have actually overturned that penalty? VAR more often than not ends up with the same wrong decision but takes an extra 5 minutes to get there.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd

    The corner is cleared.

Triple change for United. Off come Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund.

On come Amad Diallo, Joshua Zirkzee and youngster Toby Collyer.

  7. CLOSE!published at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Southampton 0-0 Swansea

Southampton have made the more pressing start at St Mary's with full-back Kyle Walker-Peters firing over from a tight angle the closest we have come so far.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:41 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Ipswich Town 3-0 Bristol Rovers

If you needed an example of how easy this game is for Ipswich, Kieran McKenna is changing his keeper.

He gives a debut to Cieran Slicker, replacing Ari Muric.

Slightly disrespectful to Bristol Rovers, but then again the League One side have had two shots all game so far.

  12. 'Should be in the back of the net'published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC One

Declan Rice should score, it's a complete free header.

Wonderful save. It should be in the back of the net.

Big, big opportunity. He should guide that across him and put more power behind it.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:38 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd

Altay Bayindir is having a brilliant game!

Martin Odegaard chips in a fine ball and Declan Rice is free in the middle, but his header is somehow tipped over by the twisting Turkish keeper.

Manchester United are on the ropes.

Justice! People moan about VAR, but surely that whole incident shows why we need it?!

    Now we miss VAR!

    Arsenal 1-1 Man Utd

Manchester United are preparing some changes. Where does this game go from here? It's been a cracking second half, full of tension.

  16. Postpublished at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

    Ipswich Town 3-0 Bristol Rovers

Kieran McKenna is using this game as a training exercise, a chance to give minutes to squad players.

Harry Clarke, Nathan Broadhead and George Hirst have all come on in the second half.

Hirst nearly taps home a dangerous low cross from a yard out, but the cross is cut out last second by a defender.

  17. 'Man Utd have to take the sting out of the game'published at 16:36 Greenwich Mean Time 12 January

Manchester United will have to take the sting out of this game somehow.

They will have to keep hold of the ball and keep passing it around.

It's going to be very very difficult though.

Manchester United were in a really great position, it was a really poor decision [from Diogo Dalot] to go in for that tackle.

    Justice. Never a pen.

    Jon, Eastleigh

Instant karma. Arsenal didn't deserve the penalty and rightly been denied.

    Aravind, Derby

A bit of justice there. The pen was very harsh.
