    ANOTHER Arsenal miss!

Or is this fantastic defending from Matthijs de Ligt?

Arsenal get in behind and Kai Havertz squares the ball past the keeper to seemingly give Leandro Trossard a tap-in.

De Ligt puts him off though and the ball goes over the bar from two yards out!

    Ipswich Town

Obviously Ipswich's primary aim this season is to stay in the Premier League - but Kieran McKenna won't say no to a cup run.

As of today, the Tractor Boys have progressed from 21 of their last 22 FA Cup third round ties as a top-flight side, with their only such elimination in this time coming against third tier Wrexham in 1994-95.

This round of the FA Cup has been good but I confess to feeling disappointed that so many Premier League teams are through. Was hoping for a few upsets. Feels like one of the usual suspects is on to win it yet again. Then gets a little dull for everyone else.

Manchester United fans can't say that their players haven't put everything in today because they have.

    The attitude has been fantastic.

Last week [against Liverpool] and today has been impressive.

Jon: Everything we love about football in those 90 minutes. Feisty moments, questionable penalty (VAR wouldn't have been overturned), red card, on terrestrial. Football as it's meant to be!

Newcastle goalscorer Lewis Miley told BBC Sport: "I saw the goal light up and thought I'd have a strike. Some of the lads were saying get a shot off. I'm buzzing with that. That's my second goal for my boyhood club - it can't really be any better.

"I've been itching to get a start. I think I've come back stronger and better. I'm on the rise now.

"You can't underestimate teams like this.

"It was an unreal feeling. Hopefully I get a lot more games like that.

"Really exciting [season]. Hopefully against Arsenal we can get that win and get to the [Carabao Cup] final."

I’m at the Arsenal game and it’s a reminder that football is infinitely better without VAR. A goal is a goal, offside is offside, a penalty is a penalty. No painful delays, no diluted celebrations, both sets of fans hate the ref, both teams getting away with things. I’ve missed this.

It’s a great FA cup game between Arsenal and Man U, however, it’s painful to see how much we have regressed this season. Not much to look forward to for the rest of the season based on this evidence.
