    It's end-to-end stuff at Almondvale.

The Hearts defence cut out a Livi cross before Jeremy Bokila can get a head to it and Derek McInnes' side race up the other end.

However, Lawrence Shankland's attempted cross is deflected back into Livingston's possession.

Stephen O'Donnell whips in a wicked ball and it just seems to hit off visiting defender Robbie Deas, who can count himself lucky that Kilmarnock goalkeeper Max Stryjek was there to save.

    Livingston 0-0 Heart of Midlothian

Livingston's Lewis Smith goes down in the box under Blair Spittal's challenge and there's huge shouts from Livi for a penalty, but the referee waves away the appeals.

Up the other end, Zander Clark is down getting treatment. The Hearts goalkeeper cleared the ball and seems to have hurt himself in the process.

Young Liam McFarlane was getting ready, but Clark looks okay to continue.

Motherwell put together what feels like an endless passing move before Elliot Watt slips in Tawanda Maswanhise.

The midfielder drills low for the bottom corner, but goalkeeper Max Stryjek saves superbly.

What a goal that would've been.

  15. Well putting on the stylepublished at 14:59 BST 30 August

    Motherwell v Kilmarnock (15:00)

It is not only the style of Motherwell's play this season that will have home fans confident of their first league victory of the season today.

They are unbeaten in their last home games against Kilmarnock, winning four, since a 2-0 defeat in December 2020 - and in their latest six home league games.

That's their longest such run since seven unbeaten under Ian Baraclough in May 2015.

Not only that, but Kilmarnock have won just one of their last 14 away league outings, losing 10 of them.

Livingston v Heart of Midlothian (15:00)

Hearts make the short journey along the M8 for a meeting between two sides looking to recover from a couple of setbacks.

Hosts Livingston are looking to avoid a third straight defeat after winning four of their opening six fixtures.

The visitors, meanwhile, have lost one and drawn one since starting the season with six consecutive wins.

But they will probably see last weekend's draw with Motherwell as a bit of a victory considering they came from 3-0 down to snatch a point.

  17. Stonewall draw?published at 14:56 BST 30 August

    Motherwell v Kilmarnock (15:00)

You imagine quite a few bets have gone on the match at Fir Park ending level.

Motherwell and Kilmarnock, along with Rangers, have drawn all three of their league games this season.

Indeed, Well have drawn four in a row over 90 minutes, although they did beat St Johnstone after extra time in the Premier Sports Cup, while Killie have drawn four of their latest six, including a penalty shoot-out defeat by Kelty Hearts.

However, no side has drawn each of their opening four games to a Scottish top-flight campaign in the 21st century. What are the odds?

With more than 6,500 Hearts fans making the short journey along the M8, this may well feel like a home game for the visitors, but David Martindale will be keen to ensure those fans are silenced this afternoon.

They will need to do a lot better than they did two weeks ago against Hibernian, when they barely laid a glove on the Easter Road outfit.

And, with Hearts having the dynamic Claudio Braga in the staring XI, they will have to be on their toes throughout the day.

Derek McInnes has the luxury of a near £2m player on the bench who he wants to introduce at some point today. Could be a fun afternoon!
