Millwall's win at Sunderland allayed any lingering fears they'd get dragged back into the ruck at the bottom.
Home victories for Stoke and QPR, over Plymouth and Preston respectively, will likely be enough to secure survival for the Potters and Hoops.
Birmingham City were held to a goalless draw at already-relegated Rotherham and Huddersfield Town were thumped 4-0 at home by Swansea.
Right now those final two relegation places look to be between five teams but if Blackburn can win today then it'll be down to four.

A relatively rare Sunday EFL live text for you today and, as you'd expect at this stage of the season, it's a big one.
Sheffield Wednesday have not spent a single day outside the Championship's relegation zone since early August but a win today will see them climb up to the dizzying heights of 21st.
Hosts Blackburn aren't clear of danger at the bottom but a win today would ensure another season of second tier action.
